The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming.
Server was kind and patient with us, especially when I had a difficult time making a decision on food. He also answered our questions and provided explanations whenever we asked.
I had the Snow Roll and Egg Drop Soup.

I think we just had bad timing, Mothers day buffet was just ending. I ordered sweet and sour chicken it was overcooked, the chicken was so hard you had to push the fork to go in.i think our orders were from the left over buffet they came out quick. Prices are a little high. Service was very friendly
We ordered a lot and everything was excellent: red bean sesame balls, general tso chicken w/rice, korean BBQ chicken w/fried rice, and crazy spicy tuna roll. Everything was served quickly and cooked perfectly. This place has definitely improved over the last few years.

Mandarin Spice is a fantastic place to dine. The owner takes exceptional care in providing wonderful and tasty meals. It is my favorite place to eat in Cedar Rapids. I love all the meals I have had there and especially the sushi.
