I loved this place. We planned on dinner. We wanted some place earlier to watch some football. Their website didn't say anything. We gave it a look and ended up staying most of the day. It had plenty of seating and TVs. And, dinner was great! We will definitely do it again.
My wife and I love Breakneck. Excellent beer selection. Exquisite food quality and plating. Pleasant service and great staff personality. The bar atmosphere is condusive to meeting fellow patrons and the restaurant is perfect for more intimate meetings. Our only complaint is that we've already tried everything on the menu and would like to see some new revolving features.
Great happy hour! Nice selection of beer on tap and craft made cocktails. Appetizers on happy hour menu don't disappoint and a fair portion also. Will definitely go back.
This was our first visit and we'll definitely return. My husband had an excellent pork belly flatbread and the cajun blue crab pasta was very good! There are 40 beers on tap and all are reasonably priced. Service was good and the entire restaurant was exceptionally clean. My pasta was slightly undercooked, but overall this was a very nice visit!
Looking online Breakneck looked good but can never tell until you get there..

I was debating between the chicken or the grilled salmon and I can say everything paired on the salmon just worked!

Great place to get some really delicious seafood. I had their lobster mac and cheese. It was delicious, and it had more lobster than I was really expecting. I was sceptical about the peas in the dish, but they serve as a great excuse to eat more of the delicious sauce.
I also had a Hibiscus Arnold Palmer mocktail. It was very tasty, but it's definitely more hibiscus than Arnold Palmer.
The sauce that's served on the scallop appetizer, blue crab pasta, and possibly other dishes is truly fantastic. It's worth ordering one of those dishes just for the sauce.
When you ask for a spicy Bloody Mary, you do actually get a reasonable amount of spice. The alcohol content is a bit high to enjoy the full flavor, but I'm sure that appeals to some people too.
The service was great. Not overbearing, but our waitress said she's take care of us, and she definitely did.
The atmosphere is good. It's not too filled with modern hipster-ish stuff, but there's enough there to keep the place interesting. Crowd sounds seem to be managed well. The bar was full, but we didn't notice them in the separate dining area at all.
The wait staff was amazing! Absolutely amazing experience! If I could rate them higher, I would! The food was cooked to absolute perfection and EVERYTHING we had was flavorful without being excessive. I can't speak highly enough of here!
5 star food at 2 star prices! We live about 45 minutes away, but we will be back again and again!!
Came here for brunch, and a very well deserved 5 star review. I had the breakfast burger, Pittsburgh rare. It came out perfectly prepared. Cold rare center, crispy meat crust. The fried egg was perfectly runny. Coffee is on point. I recommend ordering a shot in the dark (shot of espresso in a coffee). I'm a huge fan of spicy and horsey bloody marys... maybe skip that one when you come here, the beer list is a better choice.
Amazing dinner for all 3 of us! Really nice atmosphere and great service. The food was fantastic. We started with the Calamari which was really good. My wife had the Beet Salad with Salmon (which she loved), my dad had the Crab Cakes which he said were some of the best he’s had and I had the Scallops which were excellent. We all split a Bread Pudding for dessert which was also amazing. It was a really nice evening out and I’d highly recommend the Breakneck Tavern!
Very impressed I'm sad I hadn't tried this sooner. The beer selection is tremendous had the crab dip that was phenomenal the burgers are exceptional and I had the fresh grouper which the cook happy prepared the way I wanted it. Also had a mushroom bisque special which was super tasty. The atmosphere is great and so is the decor. Staff is friendly. All in all excellent experience.

Incredible! I’ve been here for lunch with my girls club a few times and I’ve raved about this place so much that my hubby wanted to go for Fathers Day. We went on Saturday. The vibe inside is industrial. The size of the place is deceiving, theres tons of seating inside and out. They also take reservations. The bar area is large too. We started with drinks, my son and husband ordered long Islands, they were so strong they each only had one, lol. They have a really good sized menu. Appetizers were roasted brussel sprouts w/ garlic aioli, it was very good, but the seared scallops are absolutely what I will always start out with. It is topped with a good amount of this cajun cream and we had quite a bit left when finished and the waitress popped over with warm sourdough bread to “mop” up the sauce. There was not a trace left on that plate. Mouth watering is the best description I can give and its not spicy, just full of flavor and seared perfectly. The beet salad with goat cheese was just lovey. I ordered a Mushroom Burger cooked medium. It was crazy juicy. My husband ordered the Blackened Mahi, he said it was excellent. The dish of the night belonged to the Rack of Lamb, it was cooked medium rare and was literally the most tender piece of meat I’ve ever eaten. It was paired with mushroom risotto, cooked perfectly, very creamy and had great mushroom flavor. Staff was super friendly, the restaurant and facilities were very clean. This is definitely “our place” now. I really can’t wait to come back.

I think we were expecting a little more laid back hole in the wall environment. We were surprised when we were told they strongly encourage reservations on Friday early evening. But the environment was nice. Food options were good however some seemed to really try to impress, not quite my style but some may really like it. Prices were over than expected. But I guess if you need a reservation, then there are plenty willing to pay.

Went for Sunday brunch all four meals were great. Jessica was our server extremely nice even listened to a few stories we shared. Definitely would go back
I've been here many times and have always had a great experience.
Tonight, I dined on a chicken caesar salad with triple chicken & bacon. To say it was good would be an understatement. Outstanding. Glorious. Top notch. Next level. Heck, I'd even say it was perfect.
Their wings are also outstanding, but I didn't have any tonight. One of my favorite wing places.
Another honorable mention is the mac n cheese. It's fantastic.
It's always busy here, but I always manage to get in without a wait. Their takeout is really good and wrapped properly if you don't want to sit inside.
Good food and they allow dogs on the patio. Every time I come here seems better than the last. Excellent food and phenomenal service if you can get past the surly hostess at times.
Very good food and a great atmosphere. They have a large draft menu. I would definitely recommend them and will be back.
