I speak today as one of the prestigious Sammie's most enthusiastic customers. I discovered the restaurant with family and friends when they were just getting started and we immediately fell in love with everything on the menu.
Through these blissful years of knowing this top-notch sandwich shop I have born witness to many of their greatest breakthroughs.
I was there for the Elvis Presley sandwich. I was there for the Chicken and Waffle sandwich. And I am there nearly every week for the fantastic chicken cordon bleu sandwich.
I never thought this fantastic sandwich shop could fail me, until they stopped serving one of their most magnificent innovations, the cookie dough/smore cookie thing that all Sammies customers pride themselves on having experienced or have envied others who have.
Despite my intense admiration for this restaurant I am afraid I must put my foot down on this one. I will not be returning to this establishment to partake of any of their fantastic meals until this delicacy is back on the menu.

We went there today for the first time ! It was so good! I highly recommend the mac-n-cheese w/ bacon and the Elvis sandwich (peanut butter ,bananas, bacon ) sooo good! We will be back soon!

Had the Muffaletta Sub no bread bc #iketo and it was amazing!! The friendliness of the staff is refreshing! Glad I tried it out as I am not in Union City often but would def go back if in the area. :) �

I've never had anything bad at Sammies. They load their fresh bread high with protein and veggies.
A friend and myself travel over 30 minutes to eat here! Service is great, food is phenomenal, and the selection and variety is outstanding!!! Wish we had one in Mayfield, Ky!!! Keep up the great work guys!

Wow! We were super super impressed with the food at Sammies. My wife had a Gyro pita, and I had The Santa Cruz. Both were made to order. The gyro meat was hot and fresh, and the pita was absolutely amazing—warm, fluffy, and tasty. The Santa Cruz was super flavorful.
This was our first experience at Sammies, and now that I've tried it, I'd like to just make my way through the menu and sample everything! It was so good. One of the best sandwich shops I've ever been to.
Pretty good sandwich for a chain place. Friendly staff, clean building better than most sandwiches you get from a fast food place. The Mac n cheese was delicious. This will be my go to while in town for sure when I just need a quick bite.
Great sandwich shop. My Muffeleta sub was delicious. Pepper bar gets bonus points!. There is a pretty good Mac and Cheese place around the corner you may have read about but Sammies makes a pretty good mac and cheese as well.....for 1/4 the price.
My texas steak sandwich with ghost pepper cheese was amazing!
I haven't had any food from here yet, but I have had their fruit tea. It is freaking amazing. It's the best fruit tea I have had ever.
Great food! Each of us had a different sub and all three were delicious. The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly. If you go to Martin it is the place to eat.
This place is consistently amazing each time I go! They get really really busy at times, which is always a good sign. Though there may be a line of folks ordering and more folks pouring in and they are slammed with orders upon orders, they never fail to greet each and every customer with their famous "Welcome to Sammies!" as they walk through the door. Always friendly when taking your order as well and I can't say enough about the food!! OMG!! If you haven't tried them yet...What are you waiting for??? Go!!!
P.S My personal fave is the Hawaiian BLT 😉
