First visit, and it won't be the last. I read other reviews and would like to address a few things. This is a small, local owned restaurant, with a smaller kitchen and food is freshly prepared. The hostess told us the food wait was about 45 minutes. She was super friendly and accommodating. I would expect 35-45 minutes in a restaurant this size. The menu is smaller, but that helps a small kitchen function more efficiently and there is a lot of variety. Like all of the service industry, they are short of help and hiring. Every wait person we observed were trying hard. Drinks were refilled as fast as our waiter could, and our food was wonderful. The portions are huge. It was great to find a place offering something a little different that is also delicious. Hopefully this restaurant rebounds well. (Bacon fries, New Orleans Pasta, Parm Chicken)

Amazing service & amazing food. Live music was a special bonus! We ordered the crack BBQ fries, chicken Kentuckian, n’awlins french dip, & a flat bread. All were AMAZING!!! We didn’t care for the mudslide dessert-rock hard brownies, but after the incredible experience we had, we didn’t even mind that one thing we ordered wasn’t perfect. Our waitress was very very good. Personable, attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, & sweet! It’s certainly not a cheap place to go, but you don’t get delicious food like this for nothing! The customers at the bar were loud & cussing-which my 10 year old didn’t love… but it’s a place with a bar on a Saturday night. 🤷🏻‍♀️ this isn’t a complaint on my end, just something to kinda be expected. TEN OUT OF FIVE STARS. will return!

This little gem is tucked behind the Patrick Henry Mall. I enjoyed a well balanced draft blackberry cider, while husband had an unsweetened tea. He prefers a stronger more robust iced black tea. He ordered the fish and chips. Fish (tilapia fingers) was hot, chips (waffle fries) had too much time to cool before served at the table. I ordered smokehouse burger on greens with sweet potato fries, which were HOT just the way i like them. I ordered a medium rare burger, expecting it would be served as a medium or medium well as is the case with most restaurants. The burger came out well prepared, perfect medium rare. The place was quiet at 1130am, one other table for six was seated shortly after we stopped in. Another couple came in, sat down, and left without receiving a menu or attention after just a minute or two. Short staffed restaurants (two people taking care of everything) seem to be the new normal as we travel across the states. Limited lunch menu, no obvious gluten free options. Had the weather been nicer, we would have eaten on the outdoor patio with our pup.

Let me start with Rob, our server, he was fantastic!! Only three gentleman working in the whole place and Rob was calm, friendly and attentive. I had the cheeseburger with wing chips while my dad and nephew had the pulled pork over mac N’ cheese. My burger and chips were fantastic, their’s was good but not great. Warm in the middle but not hot, and because of short staffing the place needs a deep clean. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area.

It's one of our favorite places to go to eat. The food is always good. The boneless wings are one of our favs and I know it's a small detail, but they have the best ranch dressing! We like the option of outdoor seating too.

Food was fresh and kids loved the Mac and cheese. Server was very friendly and answered all our questions. My grandson has a food allergy and they accommodated for that. Will definitely return next time I'm in the area.

We live in Danville and travel to Martinsville for doctor's appts. Each time, we eat at Wild Magnolia because the food is sublime. Our server each time was Kylie, who has wonderful personality and is very attentive. Everyone should enjoy the food at this place!

Love the atmosphere and the food is great. The servers are very nice and attentive. Small menu, good prices. A great place for drinks as well. This is not a place for a quick bite though so don't expect to be in and out.

My husband & I had dinner at Wild Magnolias this past Thursday. It was Absolutely the Best meal that we have had in a very long time. Our appetizer, salad, entree, service... Everything was Perfect! We were still talking about it a couple days later.

Great place for lunch. Meet a friend there while in town. They even have bowls on the fenced patio for non-service/ESA dogs to join you.

Excellent place! We were just in town passing through. We got the Crack Fries (5/5), Dayton Chicken Sandwich (4.8/5) and the BBQ mac and cheese (4/5 for one tiny cold spot). I've now saved this to a list so I can find it again when we travel back next year!

Andy took great care of our group and the portion sizes were huge! I had the Margherita Flatbread with a side of their ranch. 👌🏼

The cook knows his stuff. Perfectly fried fish and my wife's burger was cooked just right, not over cooked as so often happens. Fries would have been better if they were hot instead of warm.
