Great seafood place! Food portions are amazing. The food was fresh and piping hot. The staff was friendly, the place was clean including the bathrooms. The service was excellent. There was little to no wait time and we were seated pretty quickly.
It was our first time at Captain Tom's but will definitely be going back. I particularly love our server, she was very friendly and accommodating.
Delicious food and quite a bit of it for your money. Decent prices. I reccomend the first mate's plate. Delicious catfish and shrimp. Our waitress was awesome but the woman checking us out was lifeless. The tea with lemon was wonderful. I would go back for the food.
Large menu but waitress was not able to help narrow choices down because she did not eat seafood. I ordered a fish sandwich. I had the Catfish with sweet potato at this visit. The fish was great. I also really enjoyed the the scratch made tarter sauce. I was a little bummed being my first time here, that there was not much fish served as their best sellers from the Atlantic Ocean. But, I would definitely still return. The

I am in Martinsville once a month to catch up with my clients, and this is my go to seafood lunch spot!!!! The experience dining in or take out are always affordable, warm,quick, delicious and friendly.

It was my first visit, the staff was very nice and the food was good. We were able to dine inside that was a good thing! Be ready to wait a few minutes a lot of people come here to dine😋
Captain Tom's has been a dining choice of my family for about 7 years now. Each time we go it is a pleasant experience. We dined with them today to celebrate Father's Day and the service was great. The food had its high and low spots, but overall we were satisfied.
Great place for seafood and served fast. Love the daily specials! We are always treated great! Clean. Very Friendly wait staff. Plenty of room. Easily accessible right off of Business 220 in Martinsville in the heart of a very busy area. Plenty of parking.

Got the lunch special salt and pepper battered catfish and popcorn shrimp, and side salad. The service was good, food nice and hot, reminds me of a place back home in N.C.
