Everything was very good. We started with the duck wings and the calamari. The duck wings were crispy and the sauce was really good. I'm not the world's biggest fan of duck, but they were good. The calamari was done perfectly, the sauce was a great compliment. I drank water, My wife tried the Cedar Creek "Martintucky" and, trying it while giggling at the name, I quite enjoyed it. I had the filet and roasted potato special. The filet was perfectly done and all of the accoutrements were perfect. My wife had the Pulled Pork Brisket and Brussel Sprouts, both were delicious! For dessert we split an order of the Apple Spice cake, itbwas very good as well The place was very clean, the music was subdued but very upbeat, 80s rock and a mix of other music. Servers and waitress were kind and very attentive. I've eaten at many places around the Midwest, the cost for value and quality here really hold up. 5/5, will definitely visit again and recommend.

I love this place! The food was excellent! The atmosphere is very nice, lots of exposed bricks and dark wood. Our service was the best we have found in a very long time. My Dt. Coke glass was never empty. Just had to try the truffle brownie for a perfect ending! I have been recommending this place since our dinner. Definitely can’t wait to go back and we live in Bloomington!

What a great restaurant! Outstanding food and atmosphere in a beautifully remodeled historic building in downtown Martinsville. Our party of 4 all had great meals and service. I, personally, have another angle to review here. I was hired to provide music in the dining room. The owners and staff were very helpful and hospitable. I highly recommend this small town gem of a bar and restaurant.

It's so nice to see a classy restaurant finally come to martinsville the food was great the flavors just melted in your mouth. We started out with the calamari which wasn't tough and chewy it melted in your mouth and was paired nicely with a sweet chili sauce that really enhanced the flavor. I had the special which was the chipotle crusted salmon and roasted Brussels sprouts with bacon and butternut squash. My husband had the filet with oyster mushroom rissoto. The food was excellent and the owner was very nice and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming and also kid friendly. We will definately be going back.

We found this restaurant by chance. It was refreshing to see in Martinsville. The waitress was friendly and knowledgeable with the menu and specials. Our daughter is interested in culinary school and the chef came to our table and talked with and which was very nice. The duck wings were really good! My daughter had the burger and was really pleased. I had the filet, the flavor was delicious and if I have any criticism the texture was a bit tough for a filet. I think I personally would rather see more fresh vegetable pairings rather than orzo. Although I have to say the orzo was heaven in my mouth. I immediately called my sister and told her we have to check it out together. I love green onions but my family doesn't and the green onion garnish may have killed it for them. We are excited to return and watch this restaurant grow! They decor is super welcoming and warm.

The cheese & meat plate appetizer was good. The big Jim burger was great & juicy, I could only eat half. The truffle/Parmesan fries were really good! The 21 North Mule Drink was delicious! We enjoyed the atmosphere.

Very elegant but comfortable decor. Had 2 Taxman beers, I was surprised they had Taxman, I have been wanting to try for awhile and was not disappointed. I had the scotch egg appetizer and it was everything I hoped it would be, absolutely delicious! For dinner, had the striped bass and mushroom risotto. I really liked the risotto, the striped bass was good too just not as good as the risotto. Finally for desert we had the chocolate bomb and it was the bomb! We couldn't figure out all the components that made it so good but could not stop eating it long enough to...lol! Our server and service was excellent! Thank you Morgan! Overall for my first trip I was very impressed and will probably become a frequent here for sure!

My husband and I moved here from Greenwood several years ago and really miss dining in a decent restaurant. We were very pleased to find this restaurant. They have live music on Friday and Saturday nights and the 15 year old local girl named Maya that is singing tonight should be on American Idol!! The food was presented very well, and the waitress was super sweet and worked really hard to make sure we were well taken care of. I agree that it seems pricey for Martinsville but if you figure your time and gas to go to Greenwood, it is well worth it. Plus there was no charge for the entertainment. We will be bringing our friends and coming back!
