Picked up 3 of the quesabirria pizzas to take to work. I work at a Mexican restaurant out in West county but we don't have birria. Everyone loved it! The staff was super friendly and the food was delicious! Just moved to the area and will definitely be back!

I love this place! Whether you get tacos, quesadilla, enchilada, or just a margarita, everything is stellar. The service has always been great! Not too annoying and super accommodating to requests or changes. They were not too busy even on a Saturday night and I always find myself dancing to the authentic music!

This small joint in St. Louis is amazingly well kept. The Waitress was amazing and came super prepared, the family vibe this place gives off is inviting and definitely worth the peak. As I am sitting, they bring out these chips and salsa, the chips appear to be under done as a few were a touch soggy. The salsa was delicious and had an absolute lovely touch of spice to it. Little less chips in the fryer should fix the problem of soggy chips. Ordered a side of Spanish rice and it tasted freshly made. The rice was el dente and the corn gave it a nice yellow color with some added flavor. I ordered the Cantina signature burrito, with no black beans and no Guacamole. Let me tell you about this burrito, it is FULL the rice complimented the beef and the redsauce with melted cheese was a very nice touch, this burrito was rolled and baked in the oven and is definitely worth what they are making. If you haven't been to this small little joint, it is definitely recommended. Awesome people, great food, and a LOVELY vibe.

Great atmosphere and staff. The steak and crispy onion tacos are my favorite. You have to try those along with the BLT taco, puffy taco and Philly taco. The signature burrito 🌯 is worth your pallet too. They also have a wide variety of tequilas behind the bar. You won't be disappointed!

1st visit. Yeah, it was $30-$50 per person but that included beer and shots, so I'm normal "us" fashion, the liquor tab was more than the food. I got a steak and shrimp taco and wifey got the happy hour nachos. Louisa, our awesome bartender, lied to us and said the nachos was small. It was HUGE, in our opinion. Now, take into consideration wifey is 4' 12 1/2" tall and weighs 90 lbs. So... She really liked it and said it was seasoned really well. I don't eat nachos but accidentally stuck my finger in them when I put them in a to go box and agree, they were really tasty! My tacos were on point! Fresh ingredients and spot on with the cook on the steak and the shrimp. The steak tastes like steak and the shrimp tasted like shrimp which is awesome since I wanted a surf and turf meal. Service at the bar was phenomenal and the food was yummy. Can't wait to get back to try some other taco's and give Louisa a hard time all over again!

Big menu options and large portion sizes. I loved my fajita chicken bowl and hubby loved his soft tacos. We loved it that we get free nacho chips and salsa as appetizers. They were yummy too. The whole team were very friendly and attentive. Cocktails were great too!

Overall a very pleasurable experience. I'll start with the salsa it wasn't the generic tomato paste most places throw out and call it a salsa. There's has a nice roasted pepper taste, but this will be a first on the hotter variant not being as flavorful it was more heat yes but just as bland. On to the dishes, the barria tacos...what can you say there barria. The sauted peppers were full of flavor and tender. The two side tacos were the nashville Taco which the chicken had a nice crunch but was over powered by the fried pickles, but the asada Taco was exactly as I'd want. And last the grande burrito while not grande was still filling. While not perfect, it was good and we will be going back!

Street corn was delicious. Steak and pineapple taco and the spicy chicken taco we're both full of flavor and had a nice kick to them. We will definitely be back.

Keep trying to give this place chance after chance. When we do go it's always a Saturday evening around 8. We are given menus but sit and wait 15 mins or more for service. They usually get our drink order wrong, or it's the food. Maybe there's a language barrier. Tonight my credit card wasn't given back to me. Thankfully, I was down the road getting gas and realized it. We will find another place next time.

I got the "LA special" with chicken and shrimp, cilantro rice and pinto beans. Their cilantro rice is unique and I really like it. The food is always delicious here. The chips and salsa are some of the best around and the chips are light, thin, and crispy. You won't leave this place hungry.

Ive order delivery from here for years now. If you haven't had their Poblano Stuffed Pepper with steak and bacon you need to treat yourself!! It never misses! Although the spice level does vary. I ordered soup too but the lid came off so I had a plastic bag of soup, lol! Don't even care because the main even is the stuffed pepper. Thank you, LA Taco

We have ordered takeout many times from LA Taco Cantuna. We like their food and it is always plenty. We will continue to return when in St. Louis.

Was very impressed with the cleanliness and service! Our waitress was alone and serving as bartender as well as waiting on 6 tables...which she did flawlessly. The food was amazing, especially for a hole in the wall spot...which I tend to prefer, being from South Texas. We enjoyed happy hour specials and the drinks didn't disappoint. Hubby had crema queso on beef enchiladas and I had chicken and shrimp. Chips are light and crunchy...salsa is superb!! Must return here before the end of my trip to try more menu items!

I visited this establishment about a week & a half ago ^ since that time I have visited 2 more times. The girl who works the bar was very pleasant & her service was great. The interior of the establishment had a authentic feel to it & kind of reminded me of the Mexican restaurants that I visited in Cozumel Mexico. My 1st time visiting I decided to try a Nacho, Loaded French Fries w/ Chorizo, & a Quesobirria. The Loaded French Fries were good & filling, my only complaint was that the Chorizo was salty like it had been soaked in salt?? My Quesobirria was not what I was expecting or what I had seen on a pic. Mine was actually Taco's, so I was disappointed with that, although they were tasty, but not what I was expecting or hoping & looking forward too. The Nachos were really good & were the 1st Nachos that I have had without Cheese or Queso on them. My complaint with the Nachos would be, No Cheese or Queso sauce on them, a little too much Cilantro on them, & that the Chips got soggy too fast & didn't stay crunchy, although I liked the Chips, because they were light & not real heavy. Since my 1st visit I have been back & ordered Loaded French Fries w/ Chorizo & once again it was salty. On my next visit I think I am going to try a Mexican Fiesta Pizza. La Taco is worth giving a try, the atmosphere is nice, not crowded, & the prices are fairly reasonable. They also have a fair amount of parking....
