We love this place! We typically go here for Valentine’s Day, plus any other time we can. The food is always amazing and the staff is genuine and friendly.
The garlic butter with the bread is to die for. The Mac and cheese is amazing. The wagyu salad was also very tasty. We also had the mushroom funduta (not pictured) and that was also rich and delicious. The food is always so good and filling that we never have room for dessert.
The service is a tad slow because they’re small and usually have a full house. However, the food is always fresh and worth the wait.
I think of this place as a gem! I highly recommend this place to people who want great gourmet food and also for people who like wine.
Cool old farm house vibe. Most of seating is upstairs so be prepared for that. Downstairs is the wine store which has a fantastic selection. The menu is always rotating but when we were there we had the beef sushi appetizer ( best thing) , the burger, and grilled cheese. (Okay) . Overall the experience was good.
My mom and I had such a great time. Our appetizer was hand foraged sauteed mushrooms by the restaurant owner the day before. Native to Ohio Chicken of the Woods mushrooms served with arugula and a dressing that was so incredibly tasty! Our meals were beautifully and expertly prepared. The owner saw to it that my mom was treated with tenderness and made her extra comfy. Mom told me the Reisling was the best she'd tasted in a long time. However, along with extra friendly staff, the atmosphere was extra unique and felt like home.
Food was so good I almost forgot to take a picture. Beet wings, squash ravioli, lobster salad. The wine was amazing. Excellent atmosphere, food, and service. Highly recommend!
Came for dinner on a business trip. Friendly staff, perfectly cooked food, good drinks. For a Tuesday night they were quite busy which speaks volumes. Would definitely come back when in the area.
Wow! I LOVE this restaurant! Let’s start with the service - when the employees are singing in the kitchen, this is a happy family! I know it’s a “100 Best Wine Restaurant” but I had the best Porter of my visit. The house salad was great (and not overpriced). The squash ravioli was amazing! Excellent dinner and excellent staff!
This is a really nice location and the service is wonderful! Very friendly and good consultation.
We had as starters a Salat 🥗 and a chili 🌶 soup. Our main dish was called “toufles” (hope I wrote it right 😅) - rice 🍚 with mushrooms 🍄 and chicken 🐓 was excellent!
At the end we got a very good pecan pie 🥧... which was a dream.
Thanks for this nice evening!
Each person in Our party of seven had different menu items and all were very pleased. Beef Wellington, lamb meatloaf, sweet potato ravioli, and the beef burger we're all cooked to perfection. The lemon blueberry tart was the favorite desert. This was my first visit at the Wildflower Cafe but won't be my last.
We had a wonderful time with yummy food! A little pricey, but well worth it. The Truffled Mushroom Fonduta Poutine was so tasty. Also the Butternut Squash Ravioli was really good. Their salad with roasted beets was VERY good with beautiful presentation. Go and plan to spend extra time eating, just relax and enjoy the experience.
What an amazing experience! The wine list at this place was amazing. When you hear house wine you think cheap, not good. Well, I must say that this experience was the exact opposite! Allen was great at the bar and helped guide me through both the menu and the wine list.
The Cartlidge & Browne pinot, the Leese-Fitch cabernet, and the Dashe LH zin were great. Especially that Dashe with the bread pudding...the bread pudding was amazing (chocolate, spices, coconut, and butter). The portabella sandwich was okay, I think it could have used some more mushroom to offset the bun; by comparison the burger was much thicker.
I will definitely be back again!
Excellent service in a relaxed, cozy atmosphere. Definitely not a "cheap date"... dinner for 2 was about $80. But we enjoyed it very much! We love that many of the ingredients are locally sourced! A great place for a special occasion meal.
I saw this restaurant in passing while driving down the road and decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed. The cafe has an upscale eclectic cozy farmhouse vibe. The service was excellent. The menu is definitely upscale gourmet level with wagyu beef and fresh crab and seafood options. I tried the butternut squash ravioli. The ravioli were tender with a nice balance of sweet and savory flavors. Definitely a hidden gem of a restaurant that I highly recommend.
Quaint place, great service and wonderful food. Do yourself a favor and check it out! Pictures are of grouper special, mushroom appetizer and bread pudding and last pic is the sangria. Good stuff!
I went here after work for some dinner. When we entered, we were immediately, and pleasantly, greeted, and the atmosphere is very quaint. We had an amazing waiter, Chuck, and the food was excellent. They had a nice beer and wine selection as well. This little place is a gem! I will definitely be returning.
A great and excellent place to eat. Wine selection is the best in the area. Don't hesitate to visit!
Fabulous food created from local produce and meat. Tonight we had truffle fries appetizer, burger on pretzel bun and gourmet grilled cheese...both with yummy honey candied bacon,
Some of my friends took me there for my 81st birthday. The owner and host, Todd, was very welcoming and very congenial. Our server, Eric, was extremely helpful describing the various selections on the menu. The food was excellent and the service outstanding. I am looking forward to a return visit.
