The Vault Deli - Mason - Photo album

Super nice deli with good wine selection, located on a busy corner of the Mason Courthouse Square. The sandwich, salad, and soup offerings are great. There are a few seats next to the windows but most customers pick up to-go orders. The seating is newer though so maybe they will get more and more i
The Vault is my favorite place for lunch in town. They make such high quality sandwiches. I go between ordering the BLT or Mike's a Turkey, those are my favorites! I usually call in my order and pay in store. I typically grab a bag of chips while I'm there but the sandwiches come with a side salad.
Would have rated it a 5 star visit but I checked the menu online and the option U wanted from the website wasn't available in store so that was disappointing considering I was now holding up the line at lunch time trying to find something on the menu in a hurry. That being said ... Food was great. T
The setup is weird. You order at the delicatessen and then leave. You then go next door to the bookstore and hang a right into an eating area. Looking past that though - the food is amazing! Easily one of the best sandwiches I've eaten and the lobster bisque was perfect. I walked away full and w
Loved the pesto turkey sandwich. I will definitely revisit either for another lunch with coworkers or after a weekend bike ride.
This place is really a neat little gem. I don't make it out to Mason very often but I'll make the trip specifically to visit. Great selection of delicious sandwiches and pasta salads. Various niche sodas and other snacks. Decent wine selection in an actual bank vault. It's a really cool aesthetic be
Stopped in after reading their reviews online and couldn’t wait to taste their Gobblin Oinker sandwich. The sandwich was a great size, however, I was looking forward to the honey mustard mayo that is described as coming on the sandwich, and was given straight mustard, which I’m not a real fan of. Ha
I was craving a good cornedbeef sandwich. I don't like mines with krout. I prefer it with coleslaw. I got on line last night. Found this place. And prepared myself to go today!!!!! It is a cute quaint little shop. When I came in. I was acknowledged immediately by 2 wonderful warm young people. I pl
I like this deli, good selection and high quality. Pros: Highest quality sandwiches and deli selection in the area. Beer/wine/soft drink/juice selection is very good. Service is good. Soups are always good too. Perfect for having a picnic or taking home. Cons: Waits are a little long, awkward chec
Food is great, cute little shop. Although pesto needs more flavor doesn’t taste like pesto lol only complaint.
Just had a pastrami, Swiss, spicy mustard on rye there today. Got the half sandwich which was more than ample for me. Pastrami was super lean and the mustard had a nice kick. Very tasty! Also, get the ranch dressing for your side of greens. They make it themselves and it is special. Can't wait to go
Food is delicious, and Tad was super helpful and goes above and beyond. Great employee.
Yummy Reuben! Adorable book shop to wait in!
WOW! What a treasure! We hosted an event an hour from home (in Mason,Mi). I googled and called The Vault and Travis treated us like family. Twenty eight lunch boxes on Sunday, a day they are closed, short notice...... I can't say enough good things about the service. WOW! The food puts the service s
Just started working in Mason and was turned onto The Vault by coworkers... This place is fantastic! Their sandwiches are diverse and delicious! I look forward to a long and happy relationship with these folks! Also, their beer/wine selection seemed pretty well chosen, but I didn't have much tim
Lovely delicatessen with friendly and helpful staff. Food was great and the seating in the coffee shop next door was pleasant. Good place to stop in Mason.
One of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten... Pastrami on Rye. Can't go wrong. The store has great variety of pre-packaged and custom prepared foods and drinks. Highly recommend stopping here if you find yourself in downtown Mason.
Love the food. Sicilian pasta is the best! Prices are quite high. Great selection of beer and wine, however. Beer can be bought by the bottle or make your own 6 pack.
Very high quality meats and a great selection of sandwiches. Will definitely be going back. Wish they had some seating without having to go next store but still a solid choice.
