After taking the drive out to pay our respects to an amazing man we decided, the kids ands and I, had 15 minutes further west and visit a Long Island staple called All American Burger.
What is there to say about the nostalgia of this restaurant. It has been there for absolutely forever. It has bee
Not much of a difference from other fast food joints. Very retro setup which is cool.
Pros
Onion Rings are phenomenal
Prices are unbeatable
Cons
No lettuce, tomato & only ketchup or mustard condiments
Parking can be a pain
Best to take out unless it's a beautiful day to sit outside along Merrick Road. Great prices and they even take Visa now. Fast food atmosphere, more organized with the line and ordering. Line entrance on the left, out on the right. Fast and clean.
Prices were good! Order of onion runs had 4 small pieces but I guess that's how they keep prices down. But it was good. Order the quarter pounder. The beef patty was good and the bread was doughy. Good overall! Would eat here again
Huge line but worth the wait! The line is massive but moves quickly we got our food within 10 minutes. The burger is one the best that I have ever eaten, it hits the spot. I always get the quarter pounder with cheese it comes with ketchup, pickles and diced onions, the bun is a soft sesame bun. The
I haven’t been here since before the pandemic I don’t think. Don’t be alarmed by the line if there are people outside. It always goes by quick as they have four cashier lines going. It’s a small place with no seats inside of the building, however there are seats on the outside.
It’s a very quick in
A great fast food restaurant unique to Long Island. Food is good and shakes are great. Long lines aren't unusual.
The line goes pretty fast on a Saturday night (~10 mins) as there are 4 lines inside the building. There are a few tables outside and I see people eat outside their cars with the trunk opened.
The quarter pounder with cheese is good and simple. Quarter pound patty with diced onions and ketchup and
Long line outside proves its worth. Very flavorful double cheeseburger. Milkshakes are very thick consistency, like ice cream. Crunchy onion rings and some outdoor seating! Super low prices too, definitely a bang for your buck. 🍔
I have been coming here ever since I was little and I still love the double-double burger (double beef and double cheese). They don’t put a bunch of veggies on there like the fast food places always do. It’s perfection in simplicity. Fries are yummy and the potato knishes are crispy outside and silk
This was recommended while I was in the neighborhood. I got there and there was a long line. It went by very quickly. I ordered a cheeseburger, fries, a hot dog and a strawberry shake. The cheeseburger was surprisingly finger licking good. This is a great spot and well worth the long line. I paid $1
Excellent food, just a homemade burger feel at this place. Been going for years, prices have stayed pretty consistently low which I'm sure the neighborhood appreciates greatly. Something for everybody here.
I came here not expecting too much. Especially given the prices I thought I would have to get 2 hamburgers and some extras to actually equate to a full meal. However I can attest that, while the burgers are smushed, the quarter pounder with cheese I got was a solid hamburger and I almost regret gett
Food was fantastic. Burger was tasty and just greasy enough. Fries were incredible. The line was out the door and down the side of the building, but I waited no more than 10 minutes to place an order and my food came out almost immediately. Only downside is that portions are pretty small.... Order 2
Excellent service and prices are very reasonable. Best knish I have ever had! Crispy outside and tender inside. Don’t be scared of the huge line as it goes very fast. Staff is super friendly and have a system that works great.
It doesn't matter what time you go there it's going to be crowded but they move the line fast. It's like throwback place great food great service old-school vibes & a not so low-key spot get your food enjoy you won't be disappointed...
Classic example of the origins of American Fast Food. Quaint little building with the 50s flair makes you feel like you're in a movie! Formerly Cash Only, but they do take Debit cards now. Lines are long, but they move through them quickly - I started around the building and got to the counter in on
