Attended a Baby Shower 10/14/23 of a niece. The two staff members could not of been more professional, attentive and friendly. The food was excellent and plentiful. Highly recommend Il Vizio and look forward to returning for dinner.
Let me start with this: the portion size in this place is simply unbelievable. I have not seen a plate this big in my life! I had pasta with sea food and i did not finish my plate in 3 seatings. The food was good (some meals were better than others).
The place is not too expensive but you should expect to spend a good amount of $, which is understandable due to portion sizes. We spent about $400 for dinner of 4 (salads, 1 appetizer to share, main course and glass of wine each)
The service and atmosphere were nice.
Love this place cause of absolutely delicious meals. Huge portions. Everything is just made nice and fresh. Calamari is our favorite dish. We order it every time we go to this restaurant. Stuff is extremely attentive and welcoming. Drinks are great as well. Feels very safe. Restaurant follows all precautions during the COVID. Definitely recommended by me 👍🏼
Went for business dinner. Good food and service. Jessica was our server, very attentive and drinks were always full.
Beautiful atmosphere. Food was very good as well as our server Lee. Only issue was the time it took to get the food. Maybe not enough workers. I had the veal milanase and gf had flounder oreganata.
They came in clutch tonight with 4-5 half trays of food all perfect with very short notice! Thank you guys again!!! Will be back asap
I have had All of my kids baptisms and communions here and everything was AMAZING. The food is outstanding. Moving to Long Island from Brooklyn, it was hard to find a quality restaurant but everyone told me to see Luigi from Il vizio. His “off the boat” Italian heritage really shows in the quality of his food and the caring personality he shows his costumers. It is a must try if you haven’t been.
While visiting cousins we stopped in for dinner. Could not have been a better night. Lee , our server , explained all specials in detail. Gave us some ideas , she was pleasent and friendly and we felt like we been eating there for years. The food was fantastin. Salmon with creme rissotto was a special, and delicious. Appetizers , calamari, rice balls , everthing on point. Highly reccomend, and be sure to say hi to Lee !
This place is outstanding! It’s my go to for dinner or any special occasion. The staff is incredibly friendly and the owner is usually there, walking around, making sure everyone is happy and seeing if there’s anything they need. Fantastic customer service, even better food. Consistently fresh, consistently AMAZING!

We had a wonderful experience last night celebrating our mom’s 85th birthday. The food and service both exceeded our expectations. We shared some appetizers that the staff kindly plated for us individually and then ordered individual entrees. There was not a bad plate on the table. Our waiter Alan was terrific and so kind to our birthday girl. A++ experience.
I was given a gift from Joe at Il Vizio for Mother’s Day because I am a nurse. For one, everyone at this restaurant was so nice! They were doing their absolute best to fill everyone’s orders and they were very busy. Secondly, the food was delicious! And it was hot! The fried calamari was fresh, hot and crispy when we got home. We were so thankful for this gift and we can’t wait to order from them again!
Second visit to Il Vizio and we remembered why it's been a while since we visted. The food is outstanding. Everyone's meal was delicious and the portions generous. Unfortunately, the service needs improvement. Waiter was not attentive at all. Drinks were empty for way too long. 20 mins after our meals were cleared we flagged him down to get our check. We were too disturbed to even listen to desert options. This might have been overlooked with decent bar service, but the $13 drinks barely had alcohol in them.
Opt for take out next time.
The food was excellent but service was very slow. The restaurant was packed but I think they were short on wait staff. Our waiter was excellent though and I think he tried to make up for the slow service by throwing in a few extras. We were celebrating my wife's birthday and he threw in desert and some drinks on the house. We will definitely be going back.
I went there with my mother, 69, my two sons, 11, and 14, and my husband last Thursday, October the 19, 2017, and I was totally impressed. The waiter held the door open for us! He was so helpful, kind, accommodating - especially since we have some dairy/dietary issues and allergies. I cannot wait to go back. The service was superb - it's like you're family = that's how we were treated. Then the food! fresh and not-greasy which is big for me. The beans and escarole wasn't greasy! And the buffalo broccoli - delish! everything was fantastic. I couldn't wait to get on the computer and give them a glowing review because there's nothing like a good night out with family and the perfect food, service, ambiance that make it all the more special. I highly recommend going!
