Sushi was good overall. The place was empty when we went in and we had the whole place to ourselves. Had some good sized sashimi pieces that was fresh. I like their ikura (salmon roe) which is always tasty. My friend had some rolls and scallop.
Very quiet, relaxing place. The weighted was great and the person making the food was super sweet and fast. Affordable place to eat We can't wait to go go back.

The food is glorious, the deals are amazing, the Aurora is immersive. Most of all the server was amazing. She gave amazing suggestions and I over heard her allowing a vegiterian at the table next to mine custom make a sushi roll. Great experience.
Wish I took pictures but my hunger over took once I picked the fork up there was no putting it down. Yummy foods
I ordered the 2 roll lunch, with spicy salmon and shrimp tempura. Both were fresh and tasty, but the spicy salmon was not spicy. I also go beef fried rice, which was very good. Will order again!
My family and I enjoyed our meals. We do plan on visiting this spot for more sushi.
Food is fresh. Really tasty. Would highly recommend if you're a sushi 🍣 lover. Also they have Mr. Green tea ice cream which is the best. Excellent food.
We’ve gotten take out about 3 times. We’ve had the Lexus, Volcano and Jaguar rolls. All absolutely delicious. I live about a half hour away, and it’s always perfect when we get back. Will definitely be back. And, we used a Groupon so it’s a great value. They’re always courteous.

I've been going to Kawa Sushi for three years, they have never made a mistake on an order, they throw in free edamame from time to time, and they make very good sushi, often in as little as 15 minutes. The sweet potato rolls are killer. I get two every time. On occasion I take my 3 year old daughter with me to pick up our order. The staff is so sweet to her! Love the staff, love the food. Best Sushi I've had on Long Island.
