The best pizza ever! Everything from the crust to the sauce and the amazing cheese they use. This is the standard I use to judge pizza. I loved this place as a kid and I love it even more as an adult. Well done Angelos!
We lived in Matawan and ordered Angelo's every week. Now we live in Jackson and still drive 45 minutes to get their pizza just because it's sooooo worth it! Great family and great food!
This was truly the most amazing food EVER!!! It was SO fresh; If I closed my eyes; I would imagine being at a beautiful cafe in Palermo... Thank you Angelo’s Pizza; you have a customer for life.
Food is absolutely great (try the Grandma slice, the fresh baked focaccia sandwiches and the French onion soup burger- yes a great burger at a pizzeria); but the real reason I go is that The owner and his family are top notch people. Among other things Gio is an ardent supporter of Michael's Cause (fighting against Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy) and Baseball for the Blind. I encourage all of my local friends to pop in for a good meal and introduce yourselves. You'll be happy you did.

LOVE ANGELO'S, my kids eat the Chicken Parm dinner, it's their treat quite often and I love the PIZZA too. John, you are the BEST!!!
This was our regular Friday-night pizza place when I was growing up just around the corner - literally decades ago - and it's awesome to see the family still in business. Stopped in on a trip a few days ago, and was thrilled to see that the pizza is as good today as it was years and years ago. Grab a few garlic knots if you can, it's real garlic, not the jar stuff. Buffalo chicken is legit a fantastic option, and you can never go wrong with the pepperoni. Long live Angelo's pizza!
I stopped in last night with my wife. We had a 2 slices of the grandma pie. It is the best pizza in Matawan.OMG the variety of flavors that hit your mouth with the first bite is heavenly. The crust is peppered with sesame seeds and is super delicious. I can't wait to order again, you guys want real pizza that will leave your mouth watering, make sure to visit here! You will not be sorry!!

Pizza is fantastic (Try the Rustic Style) and the dishes are delicious, with "Italian" sized portions. We've been coming here for close to 5 years.
I went to Angelos on Thursday the pizza was so good I love the Buffalo 🦬 slice and the staff are very nice and make sure you get a nice hot pizza 🍕 today on Saturday I begged my mom to get myself a Buffalo slice I love the pizza 5 stars for me

Nice place, just driving threw Matawan looking for a place to eat. Great menu, I ordered a grilled chicken arugula salad ( with onions, black olives, and lettuce). Very good, nice portions, chicken very tasty. The staff was very nice, very clean( they were cleaning the glass and mirrors when I walked in ).👍👍👍👍
Place is excellent!!! Literally treated like family every time my wife and I go in there for either lunch or even picking up an order. Best pizza in town. Must try their Sicilian grandma’s pie you will not be disappointed.
