I was overcharged for everything. I paid 20 for my normal meal that would’ve been 15. My order was incorrect I had to turn around because they didn’t put lettuce or tomatoes on my sandwich.. at the same time my girlfriend needed a whole new bread because she wasn’t informed that “steak sauce” that came on the sandwich was a1 sauce which is fine but she charged me a dollar for the bread after I already turned around for the toppings that should’ve been on there. So we left I bit into my sandwich a bug was dead in sandwich . I called to the store she asks “how?” . I said just have my money ready when I get there. Check your food and oh yeah the cook didn’t wear gloves

I had high hopes after reading the reviews but this place just isn’t for me. The staff was pretty friendly but ehhh the food has absolutely no seasoning. If you have a more “soulful” palate, you might want to skip the cheesesteaks.

Always good, always fresh, and the people that operate this gem are always pleasant and nice. We've eaten here quite often, whether it has been dine-in or to-go, and have never had a bad meal!!! You should definitely not miss out on their huge Greek salad w/chicken, homemade onion rings, or the mixed-bean side dish. It's a locally owned Charlotte landmark that's been around for quite a while.

I moved to the Charlotte area from Pittsburgh, PA back in 2007 and I haven't found a Hoagie shop that reminded me of home since I started going here a few months ago. The staff is very friendly and the place is very clean. Highly recommend this place!!!

This is one of the best sandwich places ever! Not in the mood for sandwiches they have other menu items as well. I love the pasta salad and the greek salad. The New Jersey Cheese steak is my favorite. My whole family loves this place!

Was at a course for work near by and this place was the closest thing to me. I was not venturing far with all the crazy construction traffic and such. I am SO happy I came here. It was delicious. Clean and I got there at the right time. Crowd of trucks that piled in the parking lot with in 10min of me getting there know how good it is too.

I am from Philly and have been searching for something that even comes close to a Philly Cheese Steak down here for 4 years and have been consistantly disappointed. My search has ended. Can it be as great as a Philly Cheese Steak IN PHILLY?? That is asking a lot.....but this is very very close. I will be back!!

This place is a gem! My boyfriend and I were stopping through after going to the dealership. I was very skeptical considering the outside look dated. Go inside and see it's family run. The cook wore a chefs smock and could tell he takes pride in his work. The place was spotless. I ordered the chicken strips with fries and onion rings and my boyfriend got the 13 inch supreme cheesecake with fries and drink all for 19 bucks. We got so much food and it was amazing! So good! Please stop in here you won't regret it.

I remember this place way back when I was in high school. It was once located at E. independence and Sharon Amity. Decided to stop in. Hasn't changed a bit. Then again, why would you change something that's already good?

Steak 'n Hoagie - Stallings. This is a superb little diner with unbelievably good food and a great value for the price. We have tried many different items and everything they offer is high quality and absolutely delicious. The gyro accompanied by an order of fries is a must have! On a scale of 1 to 10 we give Steak ’n Hoagie a 10!

The cheesesteaks are pretty good, as were the fries. The asked us to try an experimental recipe for onion rings and they were good. I would come here if I didn't feel like driving to Philly Connection.
