The pizza was all really good and just as we ordered it as well as made for pick up on time . My boyfriend has been a food service manager for over a decade and said you could tell who was in charge when he walked in. The whole store looked clean all the way back and the lobby. Also the person with glasses and a mustache who we found out was named Levi, gave direction to two employees while we were there. He was very patient and seemed knowledgeable.The perfect example of what management should be from what we saw. Good job Mattoon team.
We had there stuffed crust pepperoni pizza! It was very good lots of cheese in the crust.
Staff was very friendly. Order was done in time we were told. Great food.

I have ordered Papa John's very few times now since they have closed the Charleston store. The people at the store are always very friendly, and quick. Only reason I won't give 5 stars is that similar to another's review, we were told Charleston would have delivery from Mattoon but don't.
Talk about exceptional customer service! Josh went out of his way to make a sale. I pulled up to place a carry out. Then I seen the door where it stated carryout orders close at 10pm daily. It was 10:24. I was calling in to see if they still delivered and he said, "Is that you put in the car?" I replied, "yes, it is." He said to come on in! He apologized for the hours on the door and took our order with a smile. I really miss this level of customer service. Thank you John for doing such a wonderful job! I hope the store manager knows what an asset he/she has in the mattoon store.
