Don't know which was better, the service, or the food - both were awesome! Our waiter was Angel, he explained the menu in detail, and with confidence and no small degree of pride. I had the sea bass, and it was truly outstanding (being from the Pacific Northwest, that a lot to give up)! Laurie was already full after a "tower of crab", starter, and ordered crab cakes, that she said (and I got to verify), were excellent! The weather wasn't too hot, so we ate on the patio, and it was just perfect. The patio is set up well, and gorgeous, plus - a repeat group, the Twighlight Quartet was terrific. They played great, bluesy music, at a volume that still allowed conversation without screaming....they were really good. Bill at the end of the night was $147, but I like good scotch (maybe too much), and that accounted for $55 Or $60. We'll be back, the Patio is awesome

We were trying to find a place to have a nice family dinner. I was online looking at different places and The Patio on Guerra came up. We decided to drive over and see what it was like. It was in a beautiful, old rustic building. The setting was romantic. Of course, our son was the only kid in the place but the staff treated him like a little gentleman. My husband and I both had lobster and our son had his favorite, steak. Everything was cooked perfectly, It was delicious. It is an expensive night out but worth it. We will definitely be going back.

Great atmosphere and excellent food and service. Waitstaff is very attentive and knowledgeable about their offferings. I would highly recommend this place especially for small intimate groups of 20-30 people they offer an excellent private room for such an occasion. I wish they had something similar in Laredo.

There Friday for a late happy hour. As always the staff was attentive, and the drinks & appetizers were great. But most impressed with the music and atmosphere on the Patio. Remains a must on my go to places list!

Probably the most beautiful restaurant in the RGV. The food was superb, they have an excellent wine selection and the atmosphere was very classy but comfortable. A real treat.

One of the loveliest places to go eat and have a romantic 20 year anniversary at. The hospitality was amazing with a special table, awesome atmosphere and great drinks. Your cup will never be empty. The food was good but the chicken was a little dry. But don't let that slow you down. This is your place to go for a romantic evening.

The food was incredible, and the service was perfect. The entire staff was warm and friendly. Our meal was served promptly, and we didn't need anything. The staff was on top of every detail. Our glasses were never empty, and the timing was perfect. They noticed as we chatted, and they interjected without being a distraction to my friends and I. We will most certainly be back.

Service was top notch. Food was so delicious. Other than needing to add a little salt to the ceviche, everything was very well seasoned. Lighting and temperature were perfect. Cucumber martini was soooo good as well. I definitely recommend this place, but if you're eating here keep in mind it's not a fast food restaurant so be patient. There was a bit of a wait between getting our drinks, appetizers, and main course. Definitely worth the wait though. Absolutely loved this place.

I'm in love with this place. Great place, great building. Everything was top knotch with the service. Now to the food, hot bread, great salad, then comes the 1 pound porkchop and grilled asparagus. I was in heaven! Finished the evening with Spanish Coffee. So good!

This is a beautiful restaurant with the perfect ambiance for a romantic dinner date or a celebration with friends. If you like good food, choose Patio on Guerra! Service is a bit slow, but the food is worth the wait. For an appetizer, I tried the Crab Meat Tower. It is jumbo lump crab meat marinated in citrus juices, mixed with slices of fresh mango; stacked over chunks of avocado with truffle oil. IT IS A MUST-HAVE. For an entrée, I had the Pistachio Salmon. Pan-seared pistachio and almond-crusted salmon with a ginger beurre blanc sauce. The salmon was a little dry, but still good. As a side, I had the wild rice with cranberries and almonds -- which was delicious! My Cocktails Review: • BERRY HAPPY (My Score: 10) Berry Vodka, Peach Schnaps, Lemon Lime Soda, Fresh Berries... It was the perfect blend of sweet and refreshing! • METROPOLITAN (My Score: 8) Rosé, Lime Juice, Cranberry Juice, Vodka... It tasted surprisingly strong. I was hoping for a softer drink with a good kick. • CARRETA (My Score: 8) Tequila, Mineral Water, Lime... This drink took my back to my college years! It's a great choice if you're watching your calories • PALOMA (My Score: 6) Tequila, Squirt Soda... I was very disappointed with the Paloma. It is usually made with grapefruit juice. It tasted very lacking. It is probably best to stick to the cocktail specialties listed on the menu. Overall, this place is FANTASTIC!

Went for happy hour, half price apps, was not disappointed. Picture is bacon wrapped shrimp and scallops, - delish! We also had Guerra tapas - very good; Sriracha chicken clusters - good; and calamari - excellent! Wife had a strawberry Margherita which she very much enjoyed. Service was superb, very friendly, accommodating, attentive - we were only ones sitting outside way off in the corner but they consistently checked on us.
