Taco Palenque is not what it used to be, the place inside is filthy, there are no staff cleaning it is very dirty inside, there were no salsas, pico de Gallo or limes.
We had to pick up our food, the meat in the tacos was not that tasty and very overpriced for the quality.
Overall I wouldn't recom
I placed an order through the phone and the cashier was the friendliest person in the world. Not only did he answer all my questions but he made my ordering experience so much better. More places should hire men like that. His name was Benny, i will for sure order again.
Good food but they skipped our order it took them exactly 38 minutes to get our food. They probably just need to communicate better with each other. The young man that took our didn’t know how to do add on’s on the register and was hard to understand him as well.

Taco Palenque is and continue as the best place for Mexico style food in the McAllen, Pharr, Mission area !!
I love the tortillas any of both styles and even love more the rice and beans, are just 👌 !!
And last but not least, no matter if you choose beef or chicken fajita, is the same good flavor
The staff is friendly.
The bar doesn’t have a lot of options, the totopos are good tho.
