Awesome place...I eat here every Friday with coworkers....freshly made good food....el pato staff makes us feel like family.

We were so glad to see that El Pato is still a mainstay in the RGV after being away for many years! It isn't the inexpensive taco hut it used to be, but it's so delicious, and the portions were generous. DH was able to get his longtime favorite carne guisada tacos with avocado, while I was able to indulge my obsession with barbacoa. El Pato's tortillas are the best! Even our teens commented on how soft, fluffy, and flavorful they were.
Waiting a few years to have these tacos was worth the wait. Jessica and the gentleman with glasses that attended us were wonderful ver nice and friendly. The carne guisada was omg delicious. Thank you guys for the experience
Great tacos. Very authentic Mexican restaurant. One of my favorite to visit. Facility's are always clean, customer service is on point and employees go the extra mile to assist you.
