They accommodated our group of 30 (14 adults and 16 kids) without skipping a beat. Sarah our server was great and with a group our size, she easily individualized our checks and even offered to evenly split the appetizers between our 7 families. Wow! We had reserved the larger dining room with doors as to help with the noise level. The ambience was great with the decor and cozy double sided fireplace! We had plenty of room for the group!
Our drinks and food came out timely for a group of 30! The steaks were delish & prepared to our preferred and the garlic butter on top was incredible! Several in our party ordered the mashed sweet potatoes as a side and gobbled them up. The crab dip, crab soup and crab cakes fool you into thinking you are on the eastern shore! Yum!
The manager, Sarah the server and other staff were very friendly and really made sure our experience was a good one.We can’t wait to come back! Be sure to ask for Sarah as your server!
I just have to say this place was absolutely phenomenal! Had the prime rib which was cooked to Perfection season Beyond believed the Azu sauce was perfect and the creamy horseradish sauce I ordered with it was wonderful topper for it. There are crab dip that we had for an appetizer has to be the best crab dip I ever had and I order it everywhere I go. (And being from the esternshore they have it in almost ever resturant you go to).They're drinks are definitely strong and wonderful! As for the staff they are Beyond kind and sweet everyone spoke to us had nice conversations with our waitress who was amazing! Will definitely come back here again for dinner without a doubt.
My husband and I were visiting deep creek for the weekend and we ate at Pine Lodge Steakhouse on a Saturday evening. Karen was a very attentive server with a kind personality. The food was on point, we had the crap dip and crab soup as our appetizers, both were amazing! We had shrimp scampi and the crabby chicken sandwich for our meals and they were both delicious! We will def come back when we visit again! Keep up the good work Karen!

Great food and excellent service, I enjoyed my Christmas Eve dinner at Pine Lodge Steakhouse. I was apprehensive about going to the restaurant, but I am happy I did. The crab dip, The Grinch and Santa Clausmopolitan cocktails, crab cakes, crab stuffed flounder and apple cobbler were all spectacular. The one downside to the meal was the complementary bread with honey butter. I didn't taste much honey in the butter and I've had better. This meal was definitely one of the best I've had this year.
I had an unforgettable experience, my boyfriend proposed to me and the service was fantastic and extremely accommodating. They stayed open later than expected and the waitress was more than happy to take photos and videos. She catered to our every need and was extremely nice. The food was fantastic, the building is breathtakingly beautiful and the atmosphere was cozy. I would suggest this place for any special occasion they really went above and beyond!!!! I wish there was an option to add more than 5 stars it was that amazing!!!
This was the best meal from appletini cocktail to desert. The crab bisque and french onion soup to the stuffed flounder and surf and turf.

It was our 15th wedding anniversary and when we came in they knew it. We sat upstairs and had an excellent dinner. Had a glass of champagne on them. Had an excellent meal and great service with Mikaleh.
Just had an out of this world dinner at Pine Lodge Steakhouse. Food was reasonably priced, food was scrumptious, and the service was the best I've ever had. Our server, Mickayla, made sure we were always taken care of and the manager, Kassy, helped out as well. They just made my night and I can't thank them enough for the attentiveness. We will come back every single time we come to Deep Creek!!!
Quick seating and the meal; angus flat steak, loaded potato, asparagus and red velvet cake was excellent! The rest of the family enjoyed their meals too!
Restaurant was confusingly laid out, but once seated we were having a good time. The espresso martini was extremely sweet, syrupy might be the best word... the old fashioned was far better in terms of balance. The cowboy steak was quite good, the fat was rendered well and the mac/cheese was really good. I just wish I got double the jalapeños. The steaks garlic butter sauce was well fitted and it was prepared very well. The waitress was pleasant and the atmosphere is...as expected looking at it from the outside.
We celebrated our 43rd anniversary at Pine Lodge. The crew there couldn't have made our celebration any greater. Flowers, food, drinks, and service for us and our guests were above expectations.

Chicken wings is no bones, so don’t be surprised when it comes. It’s a small portion for the price but tastes really good. For entree I had crabby chicken with a side of baked potato, it was delicious, chicken breast done perfectly, juicy and crab on top was just delicious. My husband had cowboy stake with a side of loaded mashed potatoes, he was very happy, he asked medium and he said it was very good. He finished 16oz meat, I was impressed lol. It’s a cozy environment. The decor was good, fireplace going with some Christmas decors. I liked it. Our server was very nice and efficient also. All in all very much recommend for a date night or a cozy dinner when you are here for a vacation.
We made reservations through Open Table but when we go there the restaurant upstairs was closed. No one called to tell us! We drove an hour for a restaurant with a view. We ended up eating in the bar downstairs. The music was horrible. Sarah our waitresses was very attentive despite being the only waitresses working. The crab cakes were exceptional, gluten free and bell pepper free.
Fantastic service and food! We were a large group and shared all the appetizers. All were delicious! in addition, everyone commented on how good their entrees were. And… don’t forget the cocktails. We tried several and loved them all. I don’t always find my wine but they had it!
As far as ambience, I loved it. It reminded me of the Wyoming lodges I’ve frequented. They accommodated us with a private room, which made our evening nice. The kids could play freely and the adults easily roamed around.
Relative to cost… I’ve traveled extensively, both domestically and internationally, and their prices were in line with what I have experienced.
So, look at the menu before going and if you can accept the prices, relax and enjoy this gem.
The waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was tasty but the brussel sprouts were undercooked and the crab caked had several shells inside. All in all we had a great dinner and will be back in the future.
We ate lunch here today by referral from the cabin property we are staying at and it was surprisingly good. Everyone enjoyed their meal and we ate everything from the crab cake sandwich, to salmon, crab soup, prime rib sandwich and flatbread pizza. Everyone enjoyed their meals and our daughters were trying to eat off of everyone's plate once they finished. That's a good sign! Service was great. It's the off season so it was quiet. We ate downstairs where it was accessible for my mother in law who struggles to walk with her walker. Appreciate she was able to walk into a level floor and sit near the entrance. Great job there.
We love the Pine Lodge! It's always on the list of restaurants to go to when we're in Deep Creek. The interior of the restaurant provides such a lovely atmosphere. I love the fire in the fireplace. The food was outstanding. Excellent experience as always!
Me and my boyfriend went here for valentine’s day and it was wonderful! Beautifully decorated and the food was amazing. Our server was named Jamie (I hope i’m spelling that right) She was personable, quick to get what you need and all the service was kind!! I had chicken breast with crab meat on top topped both with crab soup and a loaded baked potato.
My boyfriend got a 6 oz steak with broccoli and he also loved it. I will say the steak was a little undercooked than he would have preferred but that’s all just dependent on the chef and location.
We also as a starter got the crab dip which was easily a highlight! I highly recommend!
Very nice restaurant to visit if you are in the Deep Creek Maryland area. This is right up the road in McHenry. Rustic log Lodge style architecture with wonderful ambiance. My wife and I had a wonderful dinner here this evening. Great food from a nicely varied menu with fantastic service. So if you're interested in a high quality meal in a quiet(go early for dinner), romantic rustic environment then this is the place. Thank you to Griffin, our server tonight. Wonderful hospitality.
Excellent meal. Fantastic and charismatic service. The ambiance, with the warm fireplace amd the cozy log walls were PERFECT on a cold and rainy day. Try the scallops with bacon JAM. Holy cow they were tasty! Also, our waitress, Sierra, was wonderful! Kudos to her!

This place is the bee’s knees!! If you’re in the McHenry area come to the Pine Lodge for dinner! The people are always in a great mood and happy to see you, the bar area will remind you of the show Cheers because the folks have never met a stranger! If you’re looking for a quiet, romantic dinner they can make that happen also! Dining rooms are quiet and perfect for a dinner with friends or that special someone! Steaks cooked perfect 9 times out of 7!! Just give Pine Lodge a try for your next dinner date!! You’ll not be disappointed!!
Andrea was an Awesome waitress. The food was Amazing!!! Scallops appetizer with bacon jam, WoW! Steak juicy and tender cooked to perfection!, and the crab cakes dinner was the best ever. Very flavorful and juicy. Definitely highly recommended.
