Super fun. Cute little gem of a place. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but the inside is spacious and much bigger than looks. Very friendly staff. We had Zach as our server and he was Great!! Very personable, attentive and funny. It wouldn't be fair here to not mention his trusty sidekick/coworker Nate. The 2 of them made the experience even more fun. Prices are reasonable and the food tastes fresh. The signature drinks are fabulous. Definitely will be back to this little gem in Crystal lake/McHenry.
I came here for the first time with my parents last week.
It was very busy, but we were sat in a heated outside patio area which was quiet and comfortable.
The service was quick and attentive and the food came out relatively quickly. I ordered a side of sweet chili boneless wings and the Jexel's chicken wrap.
The wings were not overly saucy which I liked and actually a decent size for boneless. The wrap was unique having pecans in it, and was a good size, and the avocado spread was really flavorful and mixed well with the chicken and bacon.
If your into the bar kind of burgers and wings, I think this place had a nice ambiance, good service and decent food for a 20$ price tag. I would return
Today while out searching the area for places to dine at, we stopped at this establishment for a bite to eat. We had our service dog, our boy Joey with us and was not sure if it was aloud? Yes it was okay, but out on the walkway or patio areas. My wife and I were very pleased with the staff there. Very helpful and always with a smile! The food was good. Plenty for take home leftovers. Our server even gave our boy Joey a tin of water with ice in which he love it! We will be back for sure! Thanks to all the staff there for making our time there a relaxing and enjoyable event! Absolutely love this place. Second home to me! Pictured here is the Mussels appetizer, the Spinach Dip (with melted cheese on top- yummy) with pita chips, and of course the absolutely amazing Amy. The ownership and employees are phenomenal and I would recommend this place to anyone!!
I recently moved to McHenry and decided to try Jexal's for the first time tonight (01/24). I placed an order for delivery around 7p.m. The girl that took my order was very polite and professional. I ordered a pizza and wings and was told they'd arrive within the hour. I was somewhat surprised when only 30 minutes later an extremely friendly young lady delivered my food. Both the pizza and wings were fantastic, and the only downside to my experience was the fact that they forgot the ranch I ordered to go with my wings. I did receive carrots and celery, which I didn't ask for, so I'm not sure if they automatically come with the wings. Either way the food was delicious and I will definitely be ordering again, I'll just make sure I have my own ranch on hand next time!!
Great place for dinner and drinks or just drinks. Plenty of seating especially since the patio has become a 3 season room. Server was very good always kept the soft drinks full. Had the New York style pizza and it was great. Highly recommend this place.
We ordered the Chicago deep dish vegetable pizza, hands down the best pizza we've experienced in McHenry. Seriously, great crust, plenty of toppings and cooked to perfection. Super easy online ordering and fast delivery. This will be our new go to restaurant. Thank you 😊
