We stopped in after a long drive from Olympia, WA and work (construction, so we weren't exactly groomed). The beers and cocktails were delicious. We got the curry with chicken, pot pie, and 1/2 rack ribs for dinner. Ribs were cold, fries were hot. The pot pie was more like an appetizer than dinner. My guy left hungry. My curry was delicious and totally on point. We tried getting our second round from the food runner and she deferred us to our server whom I hadn't seen for over 10 minutes while our glasses sat empty. Our 6 drinks were almost as much as dinner. Overall it was ok and I'm glad we tried it out but we won't be going back.

Wow, food, drinks, desserts, and a fancy old pub/bar feel. This was the first time that I had gone to Golden Valley, but it will not be my last.
I was super impressed with the small home feel of the food, incredibly well portioned, delicious and filling. The service was prompt, light and informational, and most of all…friendly. Even with a packed house of clients…the service team was so good.
Besides for the food, the beer selection on tap was amazing. They offer everything, Porter, Stouts, IPA, ciders, and my favorite now…a good sour. They offer a really fun presentation of beers to taste by the looks of it, 10 different styles. That may be the way to go to find the perfect flavor for your palette.
We will be back. Order more of the specials, and definitely try to leave more room for that incredible Oreo cookie dessert they had.

The Ribeye Steak was cooked perfectly. The Pulled Pork Sandwich was dry and we both didn't like the house made BBQ sauce. The Oregon Iced Tea was a nice refreshing drink to compliment my dinner.

Great place to eat. We had a birthday party there recently and they couldn’t have been nicer. Very nice homegrown meat. And the beer sampler is fun.

First time here! The staff was amazing. Great recommendations. My son had the Mac and cheese, and I had the Avocado Turkey BLT with sweet potato fries. O. M. G. They were AMAZING!!! To drink I had a local gluten free beer, which was outstanding.

My wife and I drive through McMinnville and stopped by the brewery. Thier beer collection is impressive and delicious. We tried their 10 tap taster flight. If you are a vegetarian, try thier roasted cauliflower curry; it's mouth watering!!
We plan to stop by again!!

seated right away outside. staff friendly and patient with questions. Roasted cauliflower appetizer was delicious! Korean barbecue beef bowl was plentiful in vegetables and meat. Looking forward to trying more of their menu!

The Best Happy Hour in town! Everyday has a Special Drink, like Martini Fridays. We come here often, Food is always fresh & tasty. Coldest Beers in town. Customer service is the Best in town, too. Also, family friendly.

I took my family, a friend and his family here, to get some good food and drink (red thistle ale is amazing). We walked in, and it was clearly steady. Not slow, not slammed. We sat at the front entrance for 3 or so minutes before we were seated. We were promtly handed menus and waters for our children, and we waited for ours. Around 30 minutes go by and the waiter shows up with our waters, apologises for the wait, and takes our order. I go to take a drink, and realize there is lipstick all around my glass. I inform our waiter and his reply was "shoulda given you a straw" and walks away with my glass. He comes back and brings me a new one (no apology. Actually seemed like it was a bit of a hassel for him to get me a new water.) Another 20 minutes pass, and a waitress, whom has not waited our table, comes out, apologises for the service time, and offers our kids a small vegitable platter and ranch (how awesome is that? Only reason this is a two star, and not a single star.) She also refills our waters. 30 minutes pass by again (yes, thats 1 hour and 20 minutes in total) and our food comes out. Childs mac and cheese is room temp at best, my wife's nachos had jalapeno on them, even though she asked for none! And my friend's ceasor salad had virtually no dressing on it! The rest of the food was great, as expected. We each take a few bites, ask for our check, and we pay and leave. This is the 3rd poor service in a row that I have had here. And although I enjoy the food, I dont enjoy eating at the restaurant. I do not expect we will be back any time soon.

I just expect more for a $15 burger. The kitchen forgot the dressing on the bun and the bacon too. I counted 6 people working and just 2 of us at a table and 1 person at the bar. The food was a bit dry and the French fry portion seemed small. The service was just ok. I probably won't go back.

We had a fantastic meal for our anniversary! Our server Pauline was great! She even gave us 2 GVB glasses to take with us for our Anniversary! We will definately return! Next time to sit out on the patio!

We were seated quickly our server was very nice and attentive but our food took 30+ min my daughters burger was good my son in laws burger was burnt to where he couldn't eat it the waitress was nice and took it off our ticket and for $15 burgers they should b extra fabulous..but they we're not... I ordered the oysters and I could hv made them better at home I think they were from a frozen bag ...I had 6 oysters pretty small and coleslaw a small dish and a handful of fries for $22 and no soup or salad to go with it way to expensive for the quantity and taste we probably won't be back I ate at the one in Tanasbourne and it was the same they need to step up their game or probably will close sooner that later �

We came all the way from central Cali and passed by here while driving around. We decided to have our final night dinner her and it was amazing! Our waitress was awesome in accommodating my request for a Bloody Mary beer. Service and food were delicious! If I ever find myself up that way, I will definitely be eating here!

My husband, our 2 little ones and I just had a wonderful dinner tonight here. Our waiter Anthony was very prompt and not over bearing, he knew the menu and gave great suggestions. The prime rib was amazing, pot pie was delicious and our kids loved the Mac and cheese. Can't wait to go back to try different things on the menu.

We went for our first time and it was excellent. They had a big group ahead of us and since it backed up the kitchen, our waitress offered us a salad or soup to wait on the house. Our burgers and drink were great! We recommend it!

First of all, this is 2-stars for service, not the food.
I went to GVB for happy hour today with my daughter and her boyfriend. Once we were seated, and the waiter finally asked what we would like to drink...I ordered a lemon drop. Our waiter, Anthony immediately says, "I think you've already had enough." Excuse me?? I havent had a drink and havent said more than two words to this man. At first I had hoped he was TRYING to make a joke, but after the horrible service and blatant disregard by our waiter, im just offended. This has been the worst experience I've ever had here. Ever.

This was my first and last time I will visit this pub. We had a party of 6 people and 3 orders were completely wrong, including a special allergy free request. The silverware was dropped in the middle of the table and zero refills on drinks were offered until we were leaving. David, our waiter seemed to be having a very bad day and took it out on his customers.
Why charge the prices you do if you're not going to train the waitstaff on proper etiquette and manners.
Your water was a excellent vintage to bad we hardly got to taste it.

The Cobb salad was amazing! The service could have been better, we were a little put off at first by our waiter basically informing us that because a huge crowd had just ordered that the food would be slow...that didn’t really bother us since my husband and I were having a nice time away from the kids. However, it was like he was giving an excuse to be a totally lacking waiter. This had been my second time and I noticed that everyone around us had bread at there table and we had not. By the time we had gotten there we were starving and looking forward to munching on something but we did not expect to be totally put off like we were. So that was the service. I’d like to mention one last thing because I feel that it’s important to know before you go to a restaurant for $34 steak that it is NOT worth it...I’ve honestly had better meat at outback and I’m not someone who’s afraid of spending money on good meat. Otherwise I really like a lot of the stuff on the menu 👌🏻
