Our favorite go to breakfast spot. Very busy on the weekends and ,honestly, most mornings. Wonderful staff and delicious food. The Benedict, hash, B&G are some of our favorites and glad they offer a half order option. Had dinner last Friday and it didn't disappoint. Bolognese was a winner. Red Velvet cake was heavenly.

FRIED CHICKEN AND BACON! Hollandaise for days. The server was friendly the food was scratch made, and they gave us fresh preserves for their sourdough.. 5 stars, loved everything except the weird and modern architecture, might have been brutalist.. have to ask my uncle. Put those concerns aside, and have good breakfast here, serving avocado toast as well.. to keep the next generation from home ownership.

We had the best waitress!! Very smart, quick wit, and remembered everything! We enjoyed some fun bantering.
Food was as excellent as the service! We'll definitely be back! (I don't think my sister would let me take her anywhere else if I tried next time she's in town. 😛)

We found The Diner looking for lunch after touring the Evergreen museum complex. It was quite a fine actually, local ingredients, well prepared less usual (and usual, but better prepared) options. I had the vegetable hash, which I will say... tasted good but had far too much oil (there was a puddle of oil in the bottom of the dish) for me. I couldn't eat all of it but the veggies were local and perfectly cooked. The seasoning was delicious. It was just that oil. My husband's dish was similarly attractively prepared and he really enjoyed the chicken sandwich. It's five minutes from the museums, so it works well. Unfortunately, it is small so if you're visiting at a busier time, you may run into a wait.

I'm so glad I got to finally come and try out this place, I drove by it many times but wonder was it good my employees even wondered but now I got to experience The Diner and 5 star for sure

We enjoyed a terrific breakfast at The Diner. Great service and excellent food. My wife had the Eggs Benedict and I really liked my Avocado toast with poached egg and fruit salad. Its a nice modern diner with easy access and parking next to the Comfort Inn. Thanks!

The food and mimosas where fantastic. Service was great. Staff was very friendly. It is a small place and gets pretty busy for weekend breakfast so we had a short 15 min wait but it was worth it.

Preface: My friends and I were heading to Depoe Bay when we wanted to stop for breakfast. We were slightly worried as we wanted something cheaper before we hit the beach. This Diner did NOT disappoint!
Product and Service: 5/5
Service was great! They checked in enough, filled out water, but not over bearing. The food is absolutely amazing; it isn't your standard diner. I thought I would be getting Shari's or Dennys quality but I was absolutely wrong.
Value: 4/5
Initially, I thought it was expensive. However, as this review is about value, I believe the service and food matched up to the price. My eggs benedict was $14.
Timeliness: 4/5
Took approximately 15 min for 4, well-cooked meals to be delivered.
Presentation: 5/5
They made sure to present it well before bringing it out. I'll attach pictures!
I'll update this review if anything new presents itself. However, based on my experience, I'll be visiting this location every time I pass by. Definitely worth a visit!
Overall: 5/5

Great place for breakfast. We stayed at the Comfort Suites next door, but their cold scrambled eggs just did not entice us so we went to The Diner. We were not disappointed. The corned beef and pastrami hash was very good, and the cook did not burn the eggs.

I wasn't even aware of this place until I saw a randomly generated sponsored Facebook ad. My girlfriend and I went to check it out. By far, the best meal I've ever had, from start to finish. The cocktail, fried mac and cheese, and biscuits and gravy were the best I've ever had. Even the chocolate pie, which I was expecting to be nothing more than pudding in a crust, was incredible. One of my new favorite spots in McMinnville!!

Recently had a delicious eggs benedict. Service is over the top. Best place in Mac for breakfast!

This is a superb diner. Not your typical diner. Unique items and homemade. My Cobb salad was the best ever. William ordered the chicken fried steak sandwich and he loved it. Just a short few feet from our hotel.

Had an excellent dinner experience last night at The Diner. Wonderful service and great food and drinks. Would recommend every thing we tried: the bloody Mary, chili, asparagus soup, grilled cheese, pasta primavera and steak.

Proper food cooked by chefs who really do care about what they put out. Most ingredients are sourced locally with something for everyone. Special diet needs are accommodated with a glad heart and a smile. The staff are friendly AND efficient being attentive but not overwhelming.
Down to earth surroundings compliment the wholesome "diner" experience.
All this and an adequate beer and wine selection plus craft cocktails .....what more could you want!
Breakfast,lunch and dinner........PLUS daily specials!
No, I don't own the place and no,these folks are not my relatives BUT I do eat there very frequently!

Very very well done! Breakfast was savory and perfectly cooked, not greasy or heavy at all. Biscuits and gravy with bacon, poached eggs and house fried chicken. Holy crap it was good!

This place looked great online, so we thought we would try it for dinner while at the motel next door. Would have been happy with a pretty good meal, however, everything from service to meal was above-and-beyond our expectations. Will be one of our favorite places when we return to McMinneville. The butternut squash soup was one of the best I have had.

Always fresh and delicious. Ashley is a cheerful and thourogh server.

Very good breakfast. Everything is made from scratch including the bread, sausage, smoke their own meats and local farms supply the restaurant. Yummy.

I had breakfast for dinner and it was soooo yummy! I really like that they offer half orders. Clean and cozy atmosphere. Reasonably priced. Good variety on the menu.

My favorite place for weekend breakfast just became my favorite place for weeknight dinner, too. It's home-cooking better than you can cook at home. You can taste the high quality ingredients and the effort that goes into each dish. Hearty portions. Come hungry!

The food and service was good, but the restaurant was FULL of fruit flies! They swarmed all over and above our food. We couldn't eat fast enough to leave. They were aware of the problem but obviously not doing enough to get rid of them. Kinda ruined our lunch.
The squash soup was awesome!

The fryer was out when we went. The coffee was lukewarm. The French toast was ok. I think it was made out of wheat flour so it was a little bit different texture than I was used to. My partner ordered a half order of biscuits and gravy, which seemed small when it came out - the biscuits were a lot smaller than I expected. The gravy was good though. The owner was super nice though and chatted with us. Overall it was an ok experience. But I don't think it was great enough to go back.

We go to the Diner at least once a week usually mid mornings!! Everything is SO good. Highly recommend!!
