Had a great first time experience at the Gem Creole Saloon. 😋 Gin fizz, Marion berry sour, voodoo fries, and biscuit bread pudding. Not pictured were the fish and chips (with catfish). Everything tasted delicious and I can’t wait to go back to try some other things on their menu. The bartender was extremely personable and really made an impression.

Heaven is a place on Earth. The single most amazing dining experience I can remember. Fantastic service, great atmosphere and the food is to die for. Shrimp and grits, jambalaya, gumbo and an amazing assortment of signature cocktails. I can't wait to go back.

Delicious 😋 food. Love the owner. She is wonderful. The Staff are friendly and welcoming. It's one of the restaurants to eat when your in McMinnville.

An awesome Creole restaurant in McMinnville. This has become one of those places that we stop at every time we go through the area. Open for lunch and dinner with friendly service and a good selection of whiskeys and beers. The fried chicken is up there with some of the best I have had. Highly recommended for anyone who loves a little Creole/Cajun.

A little too dark for me, but great food, service, place to be. Will keep coming back as much as possible. Had to give a 5 because a 4 just wasn't enough. Need hotter food for those who like it hot and some utensils for the crawdaddies.

Wonderfully authentic New Orleans flavor. Have a Vieux Carre and some killer beignets.

Food was okay. Shrimp and grits were superb! The fried okra was cooked too long. The voodoo fries? You need to eat them there. Had a 5 minute drive home and fries were mushy.
They say they have curbside pickup. They don't. I had to go in and wait while they filled water glasses, finished making drinks at the bar and taking orders. The ventilation seems non-existent. I was very uncomfortable waiting for my food.
I would perhaps eat outside there to try some foods that would be better eaten onsite.

Not kidding, this is one of the best experiences out to eat in a while. Not sure if it’s because I feel like Jack Nicholson in the Shining, due to COVID, or if their food and service was outstanding...buuuuut I’m going to go with the fact their food and service was outstanding. My wife and I shared the fried chicken and the Steak Po Boy sandwich, and we also took beignets to go. I recommend all of it. Most of all, the bartender/server/Jack of all trades, Bryce, is what made the experience so great. He was so helpful and made great drinks for us (old Fashions).
5 stars... rather, 100 stars if I could give it. Highly recommend!
