My kid loves this place! It's the first time I've ever felt comfortable letting her stay somewhere without me. The owner is a great guy and the staff is super amazing. The food and drinks are incredible too! What an awesome family friendly place! Thanks for providing a safe environment for my teen to go!

I adore this place. Great food and great atmosphere. The owner was nice enough to sit and talk to us for - well, way longer than we had even hoped - about his cafe. There were even plenty of games and toys for my 3 year old to enjoy. Can't wait to go back with friends and family - even though its 1.5 hours away.

A group of friends and I went here because we were tired of the typical Friday night hang out spots. We decided to try something new and venture out to the Game Table Cafe. We were instantly greeted upon entering with welcoming smiles from the staff and gamers. The staff explained how the cafe works and escorted us to our table. It was slightly overwhelming at first, as there has to be over 200 game options to choose from. They suggested Potion Explosion for our first game. Long story short, it was amazing and so incredibly fun. He sat with us for our first round to ensure we understood the game. As the night proceeded and multiple games were played, we had a wonderful evening amongst everyone. We never felt judged for being the non stereotypical people in the cafe. We bought some snacks and had some drinks as the evening progressed. It was a wonderful, fun, yet laid back way to spend a Friday night. Everyone should try this spot out! I will certainly let be returning and recommending this place! Great for friends, families, and date nights! 10/10! ����

Came here for an Extra Life launch event and as primarily a PC gamer I was blown away how cool this place was and how busy it was with people playing games. The staff is super helpful and friendly, the food was great and their iced coffee was fantastic too. I'm so thankful for them hosting us and we will definitely be coming back to have more events and game nights there in the future!
We are very lucky to have a game cafe in our area and even luckier that it's a great game cafe. It's a great place for every type of gamer. Those who are casual gamers who just want some old school games, to those who are the hobby gamers that want the latest heavy Euro style games, and all those in between will find this place to be a great destination.
The staff were friendly, helpful, and funny, the food was amazing, and the atmosphere was super chill and it honestly was one of the best nights out I've had in a while. My friends and I will definitely be coming back again!

Excellent cold brew and the grilled bacon and spicy cheese "Scoville" is top notch. Played Wasteland Express Delivery Service (awesome!) and Clank in Space (very good...but I still like the original more).
For my second visit to this shop to be as pleasant as the last is both rare and welcome. Good coffee and relaxed gaming environment, where the gamers are as kind and courteous as the staff is attentive and welcoming.
Great place to kill an afternoon. We loved that you can play a game without having to commit to buying it. The staff takes the time to recommend a game and explain it to you! For less than the price of of movie ticket, you get to create your own entertainment!!!
The food and service were both excellent. It is an amazing little place. They have hundreds of board games and lots of people to play them. I went over to check it out and ended up staying five hours.
Was greeted warmly when we walked in the door. Staff was super nice and helpful. Cover charge for the day is inexpensive for the many hours you can spend here playing games and enjoying yourself. Drinks were great and the overall welcoming feeling was fantastic. We hope to keep coming back on a regular basis! I highly recommend coming here.

Avoid this place only if you hate fun, making friends, or good food! This is a great place to relax with a nice meal and friends or to try out games that may have caught your eye but require a test run or two before committing. We only went once (discovered this gem too late before moving), but in our one visit, it is clear that the owners are genuinely good-hearted people who have a passion for their product (tabletop games/board games, quality time with family and friends, and tasty food). The restaurant has a cozy cafe feel, where it could just as well be book shelves as games all around. The "play" game selection is huge (several hundred at least), and their sale options are substantial, too. And just because it has a game focus does not mean they skimp on the food quality. It was just my wife and I, but everything we tried was delicious (buffalo chicken wrap, BBQ sandwich, potato soup, and Tunisian chickpea soup). I would have liked to come back for a game night and see how smoothly that goes, but it's not in the cards, I suppose.
I absolutely adore The Game Table Cafe! They have over 400 board games, delicious food and coffee, fun events, and a charming staff! They are always willing to teach you a new game.
We love going here! The employees are always friendly and will help you learn how to play any game quickly, and the food is tasty, too. I love the cinnamon buns! The chai latte was yummy, too! I would highly recommend as a place to go with friends or for a fun date night!
This place is fantasic. I got the latte and turkey provolone. The latte was rich and effective. The turkey prov. is delicious, it has this wonderful cranberry mayo that made the sandwhich. The atmosphere is so chill, with a very wide variety of games and you can even buy Magic the Gathering and other games. It encourages interaction with people instead of being stuck in your phone or watching TV. The owner, Tom, is friendly and will answer questions about the food and games for you. If I could give this 10 stars I would. Best Cafe in PA.
Wonderful casual gaming experience with over 600 games to choose from. It's only $6 to spend all day playing board games. The coffee is also lovely. Plus, there are vegan dairy products for coffee and a really good vegan bean burger on the menu. Definitely going to come here regularly for date night <3
Definitely a hidden gem in Mechanicsburg. The food and drinks are nice, the interior is cozy and clean, and the staff are amazing. The owner even recommended my date and me some games to try, as well as helped us get them set up and taught us how to play. Always worth the hour drive it takes me to get there.
The only downside is that it is a little cramped, but they make due with what they have.
Very cool place with an amazing assortment of board games and card games. Some of them are very intricate and challenging to learn, but loads of fun if you take the time. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Coffee and treats are also excellent. Can't wait to visit again!

This place is amazing! Perfect for date night, come have a delicious wrap, a frappe, and play some games! Everyone is really friendly and it's such a welcoming atmosphere. Definitely gonna become a regular here
