Absolutely the best sushi place ever! We had the best dinner there. The hibachi scallops plate was number one. The twin lobster roll was awesome and the salmon combination plate was delicious. The service was outstanding and we will be back. Strongly recommend this place!

Great Spot! We had carry out first, enjoyed it so much we had to visit the spot. Expectations were exceeded with the food and service. Although I can’t remember our servers name, she was on point with recommendations and chefs were generous with the cuts. We also really enjoy the presentation. We left fat and happy :)

It's nice cause the place is surprisingly big but it's not crowded. It could be really nice for a romantic date. The food and service were great. I got the chicken and steak fried rice and it tasted so good. The person I was with got orange chicken and loved it. I will say their broccoli doesn't hold up well if you plan to bring it home for tomorrow's leftovers. Still trying to get the smell put the fridge but the food is amazing.

First time ordering take out from this place and I will be ordering again. The food was cooked perfectly and it was DELICIOUS! the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because they forgot my sauces on the side and we got No fortune cookies for the kids in the bag. Also I'm use to take out giving the chop sticks and those weren't in the bag either. The food though was Very very good. The portions were very very filling. Two people can eat from one. We have leftovers for tomorrow. Super delicious and I will be ordering again. I paid $67 bucks for chicken and broccoli with fried rice, sesame seed chicken with fried rice, California rolls, a large chicken LoMein, and Orange chicken with fried rice. A bit pricey but so worth it. The chicken was not cheap chewy chicken it was all super good. 😋

Toyo Sushi & Asian Cuisine is our go-to restaurant for Asian style foods. It’s the best around from tempura and gyoza to the Dragon Roll and General Tso’s chicken. The food is always fresh and hot. We highly recommend anyone give this place a try.

I've never dined in at this restaurant; my experience has always involved ordering via phone, pickup, or food delivery services. The items I've tried here include French fries, steak hibachi dinner, miso soup, tempura vegetables and the Philadelphia roll.
The fries consistently arrive crispy, which I appreciate. However, the steak hibachi dinner has been a bit disappointing on multiple occasions. The meat tends to be on the tougher side and lacking in seasoning. I've given it three tries, but unfortunately, it hasn't met my expectations.
The tempura vegetables are truly outstanding - they consistently arrive crispy, never soggy, and devoid of any overwhelming oil taste. As for the miso soup, it's a refreshing delight. I appreciate the generous portions of seaweed they include; it adds a nice touch to the overall experience.
Now, when it comes to the Philadelphia roll, it's the highlight of my orders. Compared to other sushi restaurants, they provide generous-sized sushi pieces, always fresh and flavorful. I particularly enjoy that they're generous with the ginger when I request extra.
In terms of food delivery, it takes about 12 minutes from the store to my house, and the food consistently tastes good, almost as if I were dining in. Overall, it's a mixed experience, with some dishes exceeding expectations and others falling short.

Absolutely the best food! The restaurant is selfish extremely quiet which is fabulous! Service is great! It's like having your own private restaurant.

I don't recommend making this a holiday spot or arriving at their busiest hour. Their site said there wouldn't be a wait, but then we waited almost 2 hours for our food. However, the food (pictured boat for 2) is excellent.

We were greeted as soon as we walked in. We decided to dine in since it wasn’t very busy. The service was great. Our drinks were always filled and the other tables were being taken care of the same.
The food was perfect. We’ve lived in the area for 2 years and wish we would have found this place sooner. We saw a friend of ours getting take out and they also frequent the restaurant. We’ll definitely be back!

One of my most favorite places in town for sushi. So fresh and very flavorful with great staff. Give them a try.

UPDATE: went in person - lots of tables, food great!
Ordered delivery - sweet potato tempura rolls, veggie rolls (avocado, cucumber, asparagus), deep fried cheesecake, and mochi. Rolls were great, and cheesecake was surprisingly great! It comes with a side of whipped cream and chocolate sauce.

Went for dinner around 7 on a Friday night and there were about 4 tables occupied. Ordered 3 rolls (Toyo Sashimi, Pink Lady, and Spider-Man) All tasted fresh, delicious and served in a timely manner. Wasn’t offered water but also didn’t ask for one🤷🏻♀️ All in all a nice dinner out 👍🏻
Edit: After about 10 sushi to-go orders every order has been correct and tasty. Even when requesting additions and removals. Are go to spot for sushi now 🙌🏻 great portions for the price

I had ordered take-out and the food was SUPER fresh, I enjoyed it so much will be ordering again.

Our first time here. After driving to three different sushi places in Suntree they were the only place open. The door however says closes at 10pm and they actually close at 8:30 on Sunday. Very good sushi, wine and beer. We also ordered the curry chicken which was also good. Will order more spicy next time

Enjoyable. The service was friendly. The sushi choices were very nice. It was a nice lunch out for family.

At first I wasn't very impressed. Everything we ordered they were out. Finally agreed on something they had.
The food was good and it came out hot. I will go back. The photo is the seasme chicken

Toyo Sushi & Asian Cuisine is one of our favorite lunch spots in the Viera area. The shrimp tempura is light and crispy and the Crispy Fish is mildly spicy and they serve the fish on top of the vegetables which keeps it crispy. Another favorite is the sushi bento boxes. They have a special lunch menu. Lily933

My husband and I got take out from here and thought it was delicious! Their vegetable udon soup was especially tasty. My husband got the Szechwan chicken and loved it. We will definitely be getting takeout/dinning with them again.

A Colossal Disappointment. My son was in town so we decided to give this a try. That was my first mistake. His crispy fish was soggy. They completely forgot to bring his appetizer. My dish was served with a side of ice cold broccoli. I let our server know and she apologized but made no attempt to either offer to comp part of our meal or make a substitution. I was embarrassed and will never return. I have eaten here before and it was pretty good so perhaps they are under new management. Save yourself the waste of money!

Not for me.. For the sushi enthusiast the quality of the fish might leave you downhearted considering the presentation is quite nice. Sushi is served in larger portions that become difficult to enjoy in one bite, I understand this could sometimes come down to personal preference. The service needs work, chicken shouldn't take more bites to chew than gas station beef jerky. Waitress explanation clarified that this was due to the chicken being fried... pardon me? no effort was made to rectify the mistake. Will not return in its current state.

Will not return...... The first time I went it was pretty good. I got sweet and sour chicken. Second time back I ordered sesame chicken. I tried to cut the sesame chicken with a fork and was unable to do so. Stupid me put the whole thing in my mouth and I couldn't chew it and I spit it out. I tried to cut other pieces and got the same result. I asked the server if this was normal and she said, "Yes, because it was fried." She went on to say if I ordered something not fried then I would have been able to chew it and cut threw it. Later she came back and asked me if I wanted a box!? I said, "No,I can't even eat it." She then asked if I wanted something else and I said, "No." It would have been nice if she asked earlier. My husband was already done with his meal and had been done for awhile. No discount on my meal either and I bet if I ordered something different I probably would have had to pay since they didn't comp my meal at all. If they had handled the situation different instead of basically arguing with me saying it's because it's fried. which is not true, we might have given them another shot. I'm one who never complains when I eat out, but this was terrible. My husband and I will never go back. I was still hungry so we went to Olive Garden. Thanks to them for turning our night around. Oh and I ordered something fried at Olive Garden, and hey I could cut threw it with my fork.

Awesome - only true foodies apply. Sometimes I specifically eat here when I am sick of eating trendy westernized sushi with ignorant white people. Whoever complained about Toyo Sushi is not awesome and probably loves Dumpster diving at Panda Express. The chefs are talented and service is impeccable. If you are looking for culinary equivalent to having a Delicious Leprechaun ride a Culinary Unicorn across your taste buds, then eat here. T If you think you are a cool, an whiny white fruit bat that thinks Miley Cyrus is cool, please don't pollute my restaurant experience by coming here.
Cookie Monster
Fusion Asian bistro right off Wickham road. They have a decent selection of sushi rolls, Thai, Japanese, and Chinese food. Try the Singapore rice noodles for something slightly different.
Foodforthought
Terrible! Went there for there supposed "all you can eat" sushi but after ordering my first 2 rolls (which had a sour fishy taste), was told that the limit was 2 large rolls and I was only allowed to order regular rolls. So I ordered one more flavorless tempera roll and ate 3 of the 6 pieces, and asked for a box for the other 3 pieces, to which the barely English speaking servers screamed at me for over ordering their food??? Mind you I had 3 rolls total..... Anyways, rude staff, and tolerable sushi equates to one less customer. Our bill for 4 people was over $100. Stay away!

Toyo is the best sushi place in brevard I know about. I go there quite often for their lunch special since they have the best deal out of any sushi place I've eaten: 2 rolls and soup or salad for only 8.99! And their sushi is always consistent and fresh. Love it.
Kristine Zeller McFadden
Eh!. The sushi didn't seem fresh.

Non-traditional sushi. The first time I visited Toyo I was getting take-out for lunch some time ago. After placing a phone-in sushi and chicken katsu entre order I arrived only to be informed they were out of tamago. I could have walked to the grocery across Wickham and brought them some eggs so the dinner crowd wouldn't be deprived, but that wouldn't have helped them since I was told they get their tamago premade and frozen from a supplier.
Yesterday a co-worker convinced me to give them a second shot. I ordered nigiri sushi a la carte, two pieces each of hamachi, ikura, hotatagi with a gyoza starter. My co-worker ordered a bento. We both had hot tea. Before ordering the tea, I asked our server what kind of tea they served. The response was "green tea". When the server returned with the tea, it was jasmine. I wasn't given the opportunity to ask for another cup of tea for around 15 minutes.
The sushi presentation was great, although one of the hamachi nigiri was falling apart because the connective tissue lost its integrity. I guessed this was because it was previously frozen-later when my intestines reacted I learned it was likely spoiled. The rice was bland, no immediate taste of vinegar, salt, or sweet was discernable. Additionally, there was no wasabi applied to the rice beds.
All together, the lunch tab was $41.00 pre-tip, plus the cost of pepto.

Art. In short, this sushi chef prepares works of art. Colorful dishes with delicious combinations of very fresh food. Their hot dishes are also great. I highly recommend this place for its food and friendly staff.

Greatest food in town but.... Great food intown .. sushi is great . Chinese food is delicius. But the waitress ... thai lady.. is not polite... she said bad word in Thai languae... so bad
Ashley Balester
A little high. Their rolls are a little high priced, even basic ones are a dollar or two more than most places, however they have creative combinations and everything is always delicious!

Great Sushi, Reasonable Price. We love treating ourselves to Toyo! The staff is polite and their sushi is always very fresh and well-presented.

Serene. I love Chinese food & am not that fond of sushi. The BH is just the opposite. This place works for us because they do both well. An addtional benefit is that it's a quiet, serene place that allows you to converse with people at your table without yelling.
Andy Garcia
Toyo is the place to be to receive some of the beat sushi and sashimi around. The fish is fresh and the presentation is to die for. The other side of toyo is the regular asian cuisine. To my standards, the food is tantalizing to the taste buds and pleasing to the eyes. Anyone looking for great food and a complementing atmosphere, Toyo is the place to go.
