Portions as large as their menu. I've been here a few times and the food and service are overall very good. I found it a bit weird that their menus would list a fee for sharing an entree. Either way, it's close and I've never been disappointed.
One more time. Ate here twice. First time was awesome.SSecond time I felt sorry for the waitress. Whoever was cooking made a mess of my order. Hope they get it together. I really enjoy their food.
I love this place! I have never walked out dissatisfied. The menu is a little lengthy, but they have great daily specials. Every time I take someone new, they enjoy themselves too. Highly recommend this place.
Love the food, when you can get it. Went there for breakfast. Placed our order. Waited 20 minutes and left. Same waitress gives us problems everytime we have her. Service needs help in a big way.
Food was good, no complaints there. Service was bad, waitress with an attitude can ruin a meal! Manager resolved and that would be the reason I come back... For the food!
Love it !. I had a chicken salad club sandwich there the first time I went and I had a hard time finishing it.
You can get a lot of food for your money at this place, I had the wiener schnitzel and let me tell you, you can make two meals out of that .

Everything I've ever had here has been excellent, but tonight I had the Bangers & Mash and I almost have no words! It was beyond AWESOME!!!
Not authentically a diner since they don't serve breakfast all day. Eggs came with a tiny serving of delicious fruit salad. Grits tasted instant though and the iced tea was overly strong and bitter. I'd still give this place another try but I wouldn't go out of my way to have breakfast here.
Usually very good. But the open-faced turkey sandwich was dry, had been under a heat lamp too long and the outside edges were like jerky.
The sandwiches though...wow those are fantastic!

Good food. Food is very good. I have not had anything that I didnt like so far. Cakes and pies are fantastic! They also delivery for free if you are close enough to them, so that is a big plus! We have made it a Sunday morning routine to have brunch there!
Burger was great and huge! Waitress was ok. Next time I come I'm going for the burger challenge! Will come here again. Breakfast is free Monday and wensday.
Huge burgers, dumb waitresses, and fantastic dessert.
They provide good food and service! You are guaranteed to be stuffed when you leave.

Harbor City Diner, located in Melbourne, and tucked next to Mintons Corner Shopping Center (across the street from Domino’s), offers an eclectic mix of Greek and Italian fare. This is my second spin with this establishment, as my first foray prompted a one-star rating. Upon reading the previous review however, it began to register with me that my low ranking was made in a time and space, when I evaluated largely on service, a metric which I have since deemphasized, and have come to regard as an arcane practice. Toward that end, and for context only, I will note that the attending server on the first occasion was abominable.
On this occasion however, Holly is our gweinydd. She has worked at the diner for eight years and further offers that she is also its manager. Holly operates at full throttle, despite working an exhaustive and busy day.
Now, turning my attention to the quality of the food, this is good stuff. The redneck breakfast burrito is chalked full to the brim and is stuffed with eggs, bacon, along with ham, sausage and American Cheese. It is so filling, expertly prepared and is well executed to boot. The Greek burger is luscious. it is carefully handcrafted, cooked medium rare, with gobs of feta cheese, and served with tomatoes and onions.
Although It’s a practice some might consider rare, by modern standards, it’s nonetheless worth noting that the tzatziki is made in house. My tastebuds were tantalized, as the sauce absolutely rocked. I was hooked on the first savor and was compelled to make a request for a large container to take home.
In my initial impressions, I was quite negative regarding my assessments of this diner. Well…no more.

I was a little skeptic when i walked in and it smelled like my barns back in Nebraska, but the food and service was worth it. Great Food for the price you pay and the server and cook were both very nice kind and knows how to take care of you like you are family. My wife ordered a gyro which was better than the ones served at an actual greek place. Im coming back here for sure.
Great service from Vanessa! Started with a generous plate of Greek Salad. I appreciated that everything was cut up small. Enjoyed the Chicken Souvlaki, which was served on a bed of rice with, onions, peppers and taziki sauce. Toasted points of tasty fresh pita bread with fresh tomatoes adorned the plate. Also included a small side of delicious homemade Cole slaw.
If you're looking for an awesome place to fill your tummy I highly recommend Harbor City Diner. Each time I've eaten there I was extremely satisfied with the entire experience. The food is delicious, the portions are huge, the service is terrific, and the prices are very affordable. My favorite part? It's a friendly place where everyone smiles!

Delicious food, great prices and even better service this local place is great we enjoy it thoroughly. We got the short stack of pancakes and the Greek omelette they were both amazing and huge serving sizes.

I had a Cheeseburger (at the recommendation of you fellow community guides) that was great!!! Cooked well and juicy! My daughter got the chicken veggie soup, which she enjoyed! Then we sampled a huge piece of chocolate cake!

Harbor City Diner certainly has had it's ups & downs over the years. It was one of our "go-to" places but it took a dive in the past. I can tell Robert is back in the kitchen! My Philly Cheese Steak & onion rings were some of the best I've had! The hub loved his French Dip. The house salad was huge, fresh & I was so happy with crunchy Romaine which many skip for cheaper (& little nutrition) iceberg. Darrian is a friendly, attentive server. I hope they bring back "Greek night," & "Italian night." We're going to go back again for sure & also try the breakfasts there which we used to love.
Great value and excellent taste. We tried the gyro platter and Buffalo chicken wrap. It did not disappoint. It a simple place with huge flavor. Will be back soon..

Always a delicious place for breakfast, but lunch is great, too! I rarely get to this side of town, but whenever I have an opportunity to dine here, I take advantage of it. Service is quick and the food is so tasty. I have never had a bad experience. It's so good that I bring my friends who are vacationing from out of town so they can enjoy it, too!
I ordered the Southwestern Steak Omelet with Home Fried Potatoes. My son had the Gyro Platter. The food was delicious. The portions were large. Prices were reasonable. The background music was old-time rock (i.e. Eagles, Bob Seager) played loud enough to hear, but not overpower. I would have deducted half a star if the option was available because the waiter sat us at a dirty table without checking to see if it was clean, in a fairly empty dining room (we went early on a Saturday). He promptly and apologetically moved us to a different table. I went ahead and awarded 5 stars overall, because I really liked this place and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys home cooking style food.
*side note: They have 3 outside dining tables that seat 4 each.
