La Vela - Melbourne - Photo album

Calzone with extra cheese.. awesome choice. Stefano gave us the best service anyone can ask for.. the best...
A hidden gem of Melbourne. Definitely one of the most underrated restaurants downtown. Their pizza is delicious, inexpensive, and you can tell they use fresh ingredients. Great drinks too and really friendly staff. It's also never crowded, and I've never had to wait, even on a Friday night. They hav
This was my second time at La Vela. My husband and I are still talking about how wonderful it was. Stefano our server was amazing, the food absolutely delicious and the chef even came out to visit our table. (thanks Mario). We will definitely be back. Great ambiance, no rush, authentic Italian dinin
We loved the"Italian Flag"pizza. Absolutely delicious and it is authentic Italian. It is so different from anything we had tried in melbourne. This city needed a restaurant like this, with this type of ambiance. Very Miami beach kind of vibe. Service is amazing.
We had buffalo wings that were excellent. AND a Calzone that was out of this world Delicious!! While we waited for our food, we were served garlic bread AND FREE SOUP that was VERY tasty. Go here to eat, you will leave happy!!
Outstandingly attractive outdoor patio, super friendly and knowledgeable staff - our waitress sounded like she was (or spoke) Italian. We only had a couple Italian white wines but would like to go back to try the pasta and wood fired pizza.
The outside courtyard is beautiful and perfect for dinner with friends and family. We tried several styles of pizza cooked in the brick oven that were crispy and tasted great. They have a beautiful media room that I'm looking forward to booking for business meetings in downtown Melbourne, FL.
Best place to eat. It was out of this world. The food was awesome and the service was excellent. Mary is such a great waitress. I would definitely come back again. I can't say anything but great things. Love it!!!!
The outdoor sitting area was wonderful! It was a relaxing environment and there was live jazz music. The pizza was just like the pizza in Italy! We had a fantastic evening here.
It's very mainstream and has a great staff reasonable priced drinks great food a nice sized bar and dining area as well as a spacious and tastefully decorated outdoor dining terrace and the bar manager seems to be a good judge of character and to the point not a bullshitter. He somehow knew I neede
