New China Restaurant - Melbourne - Photo album

This is in the 3rd floor of Melbourne Central near the cinema. Went here for lunch as walk in, steady traffic of customers. Service is quick, food cooked fresh, well seasoned and generous servings. Place is clean with ample spaces in between tables. Crispy rainbow beef was tender, xiaolongbao was so
I was invited to try out the truffle menu for dinner and it was amazing. We started with 3 different truffle dim sums, each with it's own truffle twist. The truffle honey chicken was very good, the sweetness of the honey paired with the earthy flavours of the truffle is perfection. Finally the truff
Such a beautiful restaurant - it’s like being transported to another era. They have their mooncake offering at the moment and the truffle pork is the best (First time having a savoury mooncake). Great dishes and cocktails on offer as well - loved the pork belly, dumplings and spicy prawns

A hidden place in the Melbourne central which is surprisingly delish. I had my lunch here today with my colleague and we were both satisfied. We ordered the traditional dry noodles, xiaolongbao, crispy pork ribs, one soup and one dessert. We can not finish everything as the food amount was a lot. Th

Best dumplings and Chinese brocoli since, well, New Shanghai in Emporium circa 2019. Xiao Long Bao delish as were pork pot stickers that were best I've had.
We had the best Shanghai dumplings and pan fried pork and chives dumplings. Then we tried the crispy chicken rice and Shanghai fried noodles, delicious and fresh. Amazing experience, with quick and calm service.
Amazing range of dishes, well priced and absolutely delish. Great deals available. Wine list is great and well set out. Service was quick and lovely. Attentive and non intrusive. Will definitely be back!
Delicious food, speedy service and great place to catch up with friends. They have cold entrees on the menu and it was refreshingly delish for a hot day. Great dumplings and loved their chilli oil as an accompaniment to everything
Good in-store dining experience at Old Shanghai. Was satisfied with the food as well as the quiet atmosphere and classy interior.
Love the Xiao long bao and pan fried pork buns at New Shanghai. Melbourne Central store has great atmopshere and very comfortable seating. We tried the Christmas exclusive Santa Bao with sweet red bean paste for just $14.80 for 2 pieces. These bite-sized beauties are only available at Melbourne Ce
