Just had one of the best restaurant experiences in a LONG time. Im only here for a couple days, been here about an hour and already decided im going back tomorrow. The service is outstanding and to say the food is good is almost an insult. Everything was beyond expectations and I had high hopes to start with. I can't recommend it enough. We got a huge variety, pulled pork, pulled chicken, brisket, ribs and more. Then the sausage that was recommended was not only great. But probably the best I've ever had. Everything was so good I can't say which was my favorite. And the people there are the nicest and sweetest. They're genuine and thats hard to come by in the service industry. 10 out of 10.
Went in for a take out meal Xmas eve. It was clear there was a lot of big orders going out. That didn’t stop their attention to my walk in small order.
Best bread pudding I’ve ever had!
5 stars. All the bbq was amazing. Get the brisket sliced, and you won't be disappointed. The smoked turkey was very good, along with the sausage. Banana pudding for dessert.
Great service. I ordered over the phone and Nick kept it simple, I like that. My deviled eggs where okay and my bbq nachos were a little messy, not enough cheese and too much pork. Bologna sandwich was awesome though, I always go for one of those.

Pass on the pulled pork and cole slaw as it’s like everywhere else. Ribs were above average. Tender and good. Surprisingly the beans were awesome (sweet variety) and banana pudding was pretty good too (not too sweet)

Had a blast! The food was great, service was even better. Even being a vegetarian, I was able to eat their vegetarian green beans and vegetarian baked beans and sweet potato fries. It's not common for abbq place to have so many options.
AMAZING SELECTION OF MEATS AND SIDES. GENEROUS PORTIONS...Enough for two dinners! Food is hot, fresh, and great customer service. The staff greets you when you walk in and they check on you as you're eating to make sure everything's OK and ask if you need anything. Small seating area inside. A lot of people get it to go. But there's also outdoor seating as well. 5 stars and will definitely go back!
This was my frist time in Memphis so I wanted to make sure I tried the BBQ and I would definitely come back here. The ribs were very flavorful and the dry rub was great. I wish the ribs were a little more tender and fell off the bone. I also had the grilled chicken wings and they were AMAZING. I don't think I would come back and not get the ribs and the grilled wings. The brisket was disappointing, I would order more ribs instead. I also got the fries which were really good and I also ordered green beans but I never got to actually touch them.
Overall, pretty good spot to go to. Don't expect the best you've ever had but if you're hungry, you can leave satisfied with the right selections.
Came out from California for Graceland and some Memphis BBQ. This place was recommended by our Uber driver. Jamie and Mike were so welcoming! Jaime was super attentive. We tried a little bit of everything and were not disappointed. Pulled pork and tri-tip sandwich, ribs, tri-tip, chicken, smoked wings, fried wings, mac'n'cheese, twice-baked potato salad, banana cream pie. Their BBQ sauces are delicious, as was the BBQ (we especially liked the hot and habanero sauce flavors). Jaime even packed up a to-go of wings for my flight home! Our experience at One & Only BBQ was awesome and we will go back if we are ever in Mephis again. Thank you, Jamie!
We had One & Only BBQ cater for a work lunch. The driver arrived on time with all the supplies, and the food was out of this world! We ordered pulled pork sandwiches, smoked chicken sandwiches, vegan burgers, bbq beans, and banana pudding. OH the banana pudding! It was enjoyed by all. Thanks One & Only!

50 years ago, I lived in Memphis for 8 years. This place serves the kind of smoked pork shoulder sandwiches I love and remember. This review is based on one sandwich on each of two consecutive days. Each was generously sized, with slaw. The sauces, "mild," "spicy," and "hot habanero," had essentially the same base flavor with varying degrees of spiciness. If your sauce is not as spicy as you like, ask for it at the counter. Sometimes the squeeze bottles on the tables have been filled with the mild sauce rather than what the label on the bottle says. The ambience was great. We ate on the sidewalk, and were joined unexpectedly by two acquaintances of my friend. An ebullient woman bellowed out a hoarse greeting and seated us. I enjoyed my meals. Also tasted: excellent smoked chicken "drumettes," and twice-baked potato salad, which I am pleased to report is not sweet. The second visit provoked me to upgrade by one full star.
