Blues City Cafe - Memphis - Photo album

Ribs and catfish. Let’s go. So good. We had to check this place out. It’s a great cafe and if we ever get back here we will eat here again. Shrimp and fries on deck as well. Great service. Everyone was super friendly and we even bought some seasoning for the road.
This pace was really good! I honestly can’t find a bad thing to say. The service was probably the fastest I’ve ever received, the waiter was kind and the food was fresh, and delicious! I would certainly recommend this place to anyone in the Beale street area. 10 out of 10.
Came to Memphis in August and my first meal in Memphis was dinner at the iconic Blues City Cafe. My main reason for going was because it was one of the filming locations in the movie The Firm. Unlike in the movie where Tom Cruise just has coffee and the FBI guys have “two steak sandwiches on a roll”
Stopped by late on a Wednesday night for "just an appetizer." Ordered the full rack of ribs for 2 and left stuffed! Ribs were amazing. They had a house seasoning that was really good as well. We recommend!
If you are ever in Memphis on Beale St this is a MUST try! The service is fast and friendly. The food was so good I went 2 days in a row. Lol The gumbo is some of the best gumbo I’ve ever tasted. The shrimp was so huge! My brother enjoyed the ribs. He said they were falling off the bone. I was not d
Stopped in here from previous reviews alone. They serve huge portions. We ordered gumbo fries as an appetizer and not disappointed-soooooo delicious! We had 5 in our party and seated immediately, we arrived in the late afternoon. Our server never let us sit with an empty drink. Our food didn't take
The only place that could take our last minute request of our 15 person group! We only waited outside for about 15-20min. There are plenty of seats inside and live music of course!! My husband and I ordered a mix of catfish, ribs, and gumbo. It was good. Their ambiance was very Beale Street!
WOW! First time in Memphis, and I stopped at the Blues City Cafe. OMG! This establishment is all that and then some! The food was phenomenal, Baby Back Ribs were Delicioso (delicious in Spanish), and the apple dumpling was so good that if I was not so full. I would have ordered 2nd's, the ambiance w
Amazing ribs and catfish. Beans, coleslaw, and hush puppies on point. Friendly service. So. Much. Food. Get the "best meal on Beale" combo. And the combo for two is a great deal.
Fantastic ribs. Very good sides (especially the beans). Great apple cobbler. Prepare to be slapped across the face with good hospitality. My Redbull Vodka tasted like a triple having the opposite effect vs the pick-me-up I expected.
