I would say this place is very solid. Decent service, my waiter was new but he was attentive and got my order quickly. I ordered the shrimp creole. It was good. The rice was ok and a little clumpy. The sauce was also good, and had a nice kick to it if you like spicy.
Great atmosphere, excellent food but it took until we were done with eating to get the chicken and dumplings served. Waiter made it up by bringing free dessert. Those chicken and dumplings were worth the wait.

They had a wide selection of items. We were told the catfish was delicious it was. I had a stuffed blue burger. It wasn't bad but not what I expected. I would have like to try the world famous fudge pie but we ran out of time to get back to our convention. I would go back.
