Having grown up in the UK and spent nearly 4 years living in Qatar I have eaten some really good Indian food.
I had eaten here a couple weeks back during the lunch buffet and that was very good btw but this time we went for dinner and ordered off a very good looking menu.
The food we had was excellent equalling what we have had anywhere in the UK and Qatar and by far the best Indian food we have had anywhere in the USA .
Fantastic Food !!!!! Hands down the best southern Asian food I’ve ever had outside of Sri Lanka. Love the fact that they have a Dosa menu, as well as a Chinese Indian fusion menu.
Awesome food !!! My brother in law took us there for dinner and from the outside I was a little skeptical to try Indian food in US, but when the food came, everything was great-out of this world, whether it was Chinese, Mughlai Indian or South Indian dishes- all were very authentic tastes and overall a great eating experience. Must visit for everyone to have GREAT Indian food�. Just a small tip for the owners/management-they could do with better display boards to attract more customers �
I had lunch there today with my friend Jennifer. They cook authentic Indian food like my mom used to cook for me. It's the only Indian restaurant I eat at. If you've never eaten Indian food before, try to go during lunch buffet or during weekend dinner buffet. You'll get to try a little bit of everything and there's always a huge variety! You can also get food made to order either mild, medium or spicy. The staff is always nice and super helpful. I try to go at least once every two weeks or when my busy schedule allows it! Definitely my favorite restaurant!
Hands down the best Indian restaurant, especially buffet, in Midsouth. Took our adult children tonight and they loved it even more than us! I highly recommend!!

Excellent Indian restaurant. Their food is to die for. Inexpensive yet the food is fantastic and the service amazing.
The Curry Bowl is by far the best Indian food I have ever had. Everything on the buffet was excellent. I go at least once a week and have been ever since I've been here!
Probably this is the most authentic Indian food restaurant in whole Memphis I loved the buffet and their wide spread of buffet each and every item tastes awesome not like other Indian restaurant buffet
Every Indian restaurant in and around Memphis is closed after lunch until 5/5:30. I honestly didn't know this until I tried stopping at multiple restaurants today. Came in here and the owner said they were closed until dinner. I asked where I could find ANY restaurant with Indian cuisine that would be open, and she said have a seat, I will serve you now. I have never walked into a closed restaurant and been told that they would re-open the kitchen just because an out-of-towner couldn't find an open spot. Talk about customer service! And the food was absolutely amazing!
My favorite place to eat in Memphis. So-Hell is an awesome guy who works there too. Delicious food. Everything I have tried is amazing. Chicken Tikki Masala, Naan, Kids Noodles, curry chicken bites....EVERYTHING!
I went there with my husband yesterday to check their biryani and it did not disappoint!!! Will definitely come back for more👌🏻❤️

Chicken Badami was excellent! The menu has a huge selection. Everything you could want. 5 star restaurant in a 1 star area.
Food at Curry Bowl is awesome and authentic! I had Curry Bowl SP chicken biryani and my friend had Egg Biryani, both of them are very good. On the previous day, we had the lunch buffet with around 50 items and their quality is great! I would definitely recommend to a friend. Form my experience, this one of the best restaurants in southern states(LA, AR, MS, TN).

The food is delicious and the service was great. The atmosphere can use a little TLC not bad though. Great place to eat! I am an Indian food snob and they have my vote.
My first time trying Indian food and Curry 🍛 Bowl has me hooked 😋 the chicken Tikka masala and the butter chicken with garlic naan are delicious for a beginners meal 🤤 highly recommend.
The food here is phenomenal! I absolutely love everything I've had, especially the spicy chicken curry. The staff is always so sweet and welcoming and I love the Indian music videos that they always have playing. You're missing out if you aren't going here.
This restaurant serves some of the most authentic Indian cuisine that I have had in the US. I’ve had opportunity to travel to Sri Lanka and this food is very close to that authentic flavor. The restaurant is not decorated like the traditional Indian restaurant but other than that everything is flavorful and authentic. The service is first rate and they treat their customers very well and show them a lot of appreciation. When in the area I would definitely go here again.
Best chicken tikka masala, chicken saag east of the Mississippi that I have had. The gobi manchurian was really tasty and reminded of orange chicken but better. The masala chai tastes like your friend's grandma made it! The gulab jamun was alright.
Service was quick. The outside of the building looks like trash but inside it's totally different. The service is quick too. Worth the price. My only recommendation is that onion kulcha should be made with caramelized onions.
This place is always mentioned as one of the better Indian restaurants in the area. Not much in the way of atmosphere and service can be a little awkward, but the food was good and the portions very large. Can recommend the samosas, chicken biryani, and chicken Manchurian. No buffet but complimentary hot tea.
I didn't think I would like Indian food but I was totally wrong. So good! I will be back. The atmosphere is a little like fast food. Hard surfaces. Easy to clean. Yet, not uncomfortable

The food is phenomenal! I have tried several dishes now and have not been disappointed in any of them. Great family style atmosphere and attentive staff. I always bring my company here when they are in town. I highly recommend Curry Bowl if you are looking for top notch Indian cuisine!
Good restaurant with plenty of Indian food options. I would certainly recommend indo-Chinese section there. I loved the veg and non-veg indo Chinese over time. I did not like the chicken vindaloo much, though.
The vegetarian biryani is the best!!! The portion is huge and can be easily shared by 2 people. It is served with raita and mirchi ka salan. It is very addictive!!

Amazing food. Excellent service. Highly recommended. We visited at the end of a soccer tournament and so glad we did. We would definitely come back.
I've ordered Sp Chicken Biryani couple of times, apart from once I haven't been disappointed. They give sufficient meat unlike other places and decent taste. Overall, worth the price.
