Tops Bar-b-q -union Ave. - Memphis - Photo album

The food took awhile since we were told several times that they were short staffed. Orders were getting messed up because of one person. However that didn't tract from the food that was served. It was delicious and the banana pudding was very good.
I’ve been coming here since I was a child and let me tell you it’s still just as good!! Young lady who took my order was super nice. I got the sampler platter and loved it!!!
The food was on point! The service was lackluster, as I ordered 2 different sides, but ended up with 2 desserts, I mean... maybe it wasn't a "bad" mistake, but I didn't need all those cards! LOL. The place smelled amazing when we walked in, but it could've been a bit cleaner. Workers weren't rude,
I ordered a turkey burger which was okay but a little too done and salty. The fries were excellent, the baked beans were okay. The staff was very friendly and worked hard to get everyone their orders.
My first stop when I come home! I’ve been eating here since a child! Best BBQ in the city!!! •Jumbo pulled pork sandwich with the works with fries and/or potato salad/dill pickle chips
We haven’t been in the area since the pandemic hit and we’re excited to go back to Tops. We were not disappointed. Our ribs were juicy and tender with a beautiful crust. Their sweet BBQ sauce is delicious but hardly necessary. I’d like to try their breakfast sometime, and the burgers looked good too
Hands down the best BBQ in Memphis. The Rendezvous is for tourists and rookies. If you want real Memphis BBQ this is the place to get it.
Awesome restaurant near down town hall...free parking available...enough dining area available...have both dine in and take away...can do party orders from 10 to 1000 people strength...orders ribs sandwich, sweet potatoes and pork sandwich it was awesome...must visit place for travellers
I love the Bar B Q Nachos, if you get them make sure there's a enough cheese and there are loaded. My Pulled Pork Plate could have been better but it was ok.
I love this place, in the 90s it was my go-to for a quick Jumbo BBQ combo, beans and fries on the side - extra bbq sauce please. Its in Midtown so its sketchy at times outside, but you are in/out pretty quick. Wish they had a drive through!
Listen if y’all don’t do nothing else you got to check them out. I am from Atlanta, Ga and me and my husband came twice in one day. Them chicken nachos and the ribs make you want to slap your mama. We will be back.
