Always good Italian food. So glad my travels brought me here today. This place has been here forever. Has roots back to the early 1930s. Got the lunchtime specials. Lasagna and spaghetti. And too full for desert. They have a reputation for bbq pizza, give it a try. Enjoy.
I LOVE this place!! It's been around 100 years!!! The location on S Parkway is my favorite... I've been eating there for 30 yrs. Now everytime I come back to visit I have to come.. great pizza and I love the spaghetti Ravioli combo. Don't get me started on the shredded parm..I'll use the whole container lol... the staff is friendly as well as the owner.. Elvis and Priscilla weren't wrong in frequenting here...
Excellent food and service. Love the Elvis room!!
Great Italian restaurant filled with numerous staples.
On this particular visit, we had a carafe of chardonnay, and I opted for the manicotti. It's a vegetarian option filled with layers of cheese and topped with a dark made-in-house tomato-based sauce.
My friends had spaghetti w/ meatballs, the fettuccine alfredo, and the cannelloni. Everyone was very satisfied with their respective dinner selections.
As you can see from the photos, there's a beautiful atrium and fountain in the center of the restaurant and jumbo canvas prints of Italian locations lining the walls.
Would recommend for people in Memphis looking for a local Italian eatery.
We came here specifically because this was a place that served Elvis a pizza he loved. It remains relatively unchanged from when he would visit, which I found to be part of it's charm. The pizza is absolutely amazing and freshly made down to the dough. The owner even came to speak to us and tell us about Elvis coming in and Priscilla even picking up pizza to take to Graceland herself. I can't tell you how friendly the servers were as well. We will absolutely return here on our next visit to Memphis. Please check them out!
My 1st time visiting. The staff was so incredibly nice. You can definitely feel the pride in this family business. 5 stars all the way around
Don't believe the negative reviews. Colletta's is a gem, with a fun bar scene, with friendly service, tasty pizza, and lively locals. Try the BBQ pizza; the meat is perfect.
Food was great as well as service. It’s definitely a hole in the wall place but it’s been a part of the community for a while. Everone should come try Colettas.

It is worth the wait. You can tell the pasta sauce is not a branded product from a supermarket. It is dark in colour, thick with meat chunks. The pizza we had was overloaded with pepperoni and the thickness of the crust was just right. They also provide a jar of shredded cheese which you can use according to your preference.
the chicken parm is to die for!! The sauce is thick, meaty and packed with flavor. We torn through the raviolis before I could get a picture. They make them fresh daily. The owner was there while we were dining and introduced himself, very personable & we enjoyed his stories he told us. I cannot wait to make our trip back!
