I was a little skeptical about this place after seeing all the negative reviews but we decide to go for my birthday anyway. This place was amazing! Our waitresses was wonderful, the chief was amazing (Donta)and the food was outstanding! We had a great night and now my mom want to go back for her birthday! Five stars is not enough to rate this place!!! Wonderful experience!!!!!!!
My family visited Benihana's Memphis sushi bar last night. We had excellent service and all sushi was prepared to perfection. Happy hour is from 5-7. They also have a happy hour sushi menu...we recommend! Thank you Neal Heaslett.
The food was good as always! But the waitress was a little rude with removing plates and drinks without asking if we were through.. And still got a tip though �
I arrived at 6pm and was seated at 6:45pm. Our server Quinton was very polite. Brought our side dishes and beverages in a timely manner. The food was delicious. The chef was friendly and had no problem adding more to me and my son's plate.
Shout out to Chef Tim. I went to Benihana in another state and didn't enjoy it. This one had great reviews so I had my birthday dinner there. Food was actually good and the chef was entertaining. Will go back
The food was really great! I got the spicy chicken with double rice. The waiter was friendly. The cook was funny and he was very clean before and after! The price was very reasonable for the amount of food. I will return
Food was great and well prepared, got seated after about 20 minutes after reservation time on a Thursday night. I really came to give great compliments on Chef KP, thus far my favorite chef she was so kind, funny and great at what she does because the food was excellent. My three old dined with us and this was his first time he enjoyed it but she made it memorable. He doesn’t talk much but he told her “ hey “every 5 minutes while cooking and she replied each time without getting annoyed at him being repetitive. Even came out when we was leaving to tell him bye. He loved it and I thank her so much for that. Great service from chef KP
We went for my husband birthday w/o no reservation. And there was no wait because we went when they 1st opened. The atmosphere was lovely and the host was pleasant. And the food was fantastic!
The food and the experience was nice. I had a mojito and the filet with scallops with the fried rice. We did have some cranky people beside us. I felt bad for our server. She was obviously pretty new. I thought she did wonderful they were just sucking down water like a camel. Giving that snap a finger attitude. But we made sure we took care of server. Some people just don't understand the restaurant business. Everything was absolutely delicious and our chef was funny. We enjoyed our time even though the other two couples didn't.
Had a great time. The food and drinks were good and the staff was very friendly.

Sooo my five star review is for the chef & our host. The service was amazing and the food was great! Chef KP did a great job & Tericka was an amazing host. Let me tell y’all… These chili shrimp rolls are a 10/10! The shrimp rolls are what I came for and they did not disappoint!

It was my first time visiting Benihana..I must say everything on our table was delicious.The soup was the best I've ever had. Our service was exceptional..Chef Eric was by far the coolest,most attentive and fun Guy. He cooked his food with love. And might I add,the Peach Saki socked it to me. The wait was a little long to be seated. But it was well worth the wait. Definitely a go to when I visit Memphis again.
Chef Darnell Fisher made my mom first hibachi experience very memorable she said it was the best food she has had in a long time. Thank you Mr. Fisher be back real soon❤️❤️
Finally made it here and the food, dranks, and customer service did not disappoint!!! Ike was our man and he made sure we were great! I will definitely be back for the Chili Shrimp Rolls again and the Benihana Punch!!!
