I order the neckbone plate with collard green, candied yams, and cornbread. The greens was ok but needed a little more season, try add some lipton onion soup mix. The corn bread was a little dry.

When my wife and I entered the restaurant we were greeted by a manager who showed us to our table. It took 5 minutes before our order was taken by a very lively server. The best hush puppies on the planet! Terrific service. A bit overpriced for lunchtime. But, it’s a ton of food. I would make one suggestion to offer smaller portions at lunch to accommodate light eaters. But, the food is wonderful.
The food was great...I see some cosmetic improvements being made. The TV show didn't do them well and they only remodeled the sections that were shown on the program. A few more improvements such as floor coverings...lighting fixtures and parking lot repaving would bring it back to popularity.
Tarter sauce and cocktail sauce are homemade. My only complaint was the French fries were bland.
