We ordered 100 wings for our daughter's birthday party, and he actually came in early to make sure we received them on time! They were literally the best chicken wings I, or anyone else at the party, has ever had. I highly recommend not only for the food but for the customer service!

My new go-to wing place! The wings (regular hot) were awesome, and they were ready in 6 minutes. Wilson (and James!) were friendly and helpful. Don't forget to try the South Memphis Kool-Aid... made the wing combo perfect!

Picked up some wings for dinner tonight and they were so good I had to create an account to talk about them.
The location isn't great, and when I walked up music was blaring through speakers outside, which was different but very fitting. The inside is nothing special, a few tables and chairs and a huge counter where you place and pick up your order. They had a glass fridge for bottled drinks, and a jug of the famous "South Memphis Kool-Aid". Β
I got the 5 wing combo, Honey Hot, which came with fries and a medium Kool-Aid. The wings were amazing, I love a whole wing, and these were fantastic, as was the sauce, which was not overly sweet and had the perfect amount of heat. The fries were super crispy and tasty. The Kool-Aid was awesome, nice and sweet and added a perfect balance with the fries and wings.
They had a few baked goods along the counter, and a selection of packaged deserts as well. Looked tasty but I was in a hurry to get my wing on.
Overall this place is great, friendly service and awesome wings. I'll definitely be making a return trip soon!
Fan-freaking-tastic wings!. Stopped by this evening for some wings and definitely wasn't disappointed --- the price, quality of the food, and awesome service can't be beat. Hot honey wings with the cajun fries were phenomenal and just what I needed on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Check them out!
I stumbled upon this place by chance (or now I'm thinking it was fate) while looking for hot wings in the area. All of it was great. The wings have a fresh, made to order (even though I went half an hour before closing), quality taste with a perfect crispiness. I got the 5 wing combo with seasoned fries and the drink is "South Memphis Kool aid" though bottled drinks are available. The fries were also good--not too much seasoning, good crispiness and flavor. I ordered the honey hot flavor and the spiciness was surprising in a good way. It'll hit you subtly and make your nose run. The meal was very filling as well. Didn't even finish it...in one sitting. To top everything off, the (I assume) owner was very nice and friendly. That's not something you find often in the area but he immediately seemed like a laid back friend.
Note: currently it is cash only but he's working on accepting plastic.
By far the best wing shop stop in Midtown! If you're tired of small ass chain wings or bad service from other shops come here and get some good!! I usually get the honey-hot and it is π₯!

BE WARNED the owner's sauce is a little spicier than most places, but that's a must growing up here locally. He's a golden personality and one of the hardest working dudes I've ever met. Thanks for the food and cheers to continued success!
This place is good as hell. I got the 7 wing combo. Definitely get the seasoned fries. They got the perfect amount of flavor. I just got the regular hot sauce on the wings, and damn they were hot. Granted, I'm white as hell. However the heat didn't stop me from eating every last bite.

This place is a hidden gem. Best customer service i have ever experienced in fast food industry. The wings are great and the cool aid is even better. The prices are fair and the portions are generous. Overall, restaurants like Tugs could learn what customer service means from this chicken place.

5 stars for the food. The food was fabulous! I had the fish and it was cooked and seasoned perfectly. My friend had wings and LOVED them!
2 stars for appearance of the restaurant. I agree with another reviewer, the place needs major work on decor. Glad the health department score, a 95 was posted, otherwise I would have ran.
5 stars for customer service, the owner was personable, friendly, and hilarious. We actually joked about the appearance of the place.

I remember coming here with my dad as a teen a few years ago and the food was amazing and the south Memphis koolaid was a hit. The owner was also really nice (reason I left the 5 stars + good food). Not sure if theyβre still open but I tried calling and the number was no good.
The owner, Wilson, is a very friendly guy. We had a good conversation as we waited for the wings to cook. The sauces for the wings were pretty tasty as well. However, the wings were cooked more that I wanted, but with that being said, there was a note saying that all wings are cooked well-done.
Me and a few co-workers discovered Wilson's about a week ago. We have been twice, and will definitely be back for more! I personally like the extra hot. It's a great balance of flavor and heat. As others have said, the chicken has been spot on both times we have went. My coworkers get the South Memphis Kool-Aid everytime and absolutely love it. Wilson is the only staff member there, and he is extremely courteous and professional. He puts a TON of care in to customer satisfaction and has been extremely friendly both times. He definitely builds great relationships with his customers, which will keep us coming back no matter where he is located. Keep it up Wilson!! You do a great job man!
I went to try Wilson's Wings 'n Things today for the first time and this is my new spot! Wilson was so friendly and professional and the food was amazing. I've had a lot of wings in Memphis and these were by far the best. Highly recommend!

Wilson's be the BOMB. Great food and great prices. AND THE KOOL-AID IS TO DIE FOR!!! Admittedly the appearance leaves a little to be desired but his score was a 95!!! Cant argue with that!!!. Place has character tho. I have been to gorgeous restaurants with TERRIBLE FOOD!!!! AND HE OPEN ON HOLIDAYS YALL!!! WILSON KEEP DOING YA THANG MY GUY!!!!

my husband picked my order up and told me how much he liked the owner while he waited he told me they shared lots of laughs so i had to leave a review because my husband is a little anti lol but the food was fresh and very tasty for a small price you get big taste i loved it!
