Cottage Restaurant - Memphis - Photo album

Diner like spot favored by locals. Has mostly American but some Thai dishes. Dropped in on a Thursday when they had ribs which were really good. How good ? I took a picture of the rib bones. Great veggies too. Will come back for breakfast.
A charming down-home Southern restaurant located in the French Village Square on Summer Avenue. I consider this an under-the radar gem, with the walls plastered with license plates, vintage photos, Elvis memorabilia…additionally, houseplants on every booth and table. The food was prepared well - a
Wonderful food and service for breakfast on a Saturday! Can’t wait to try the Thai food!!!
This was my first visit definitely not my last. After searching for breakfast spots this was the 3rd place we came up with. The place is small but quint. The staff friendly I felt like they knew me before. The food was good. They have reasonable prices. I'll be back to try the dinner.
I’m writing this review without having the food yet. It’s breakfast hours and the chef is making me red curry beef pork shrimp. And pad Thai the server is so nice . They give you doughnut as you wait hon your order . I called first and she went an checked with Tom. / well the good has arrived bye
We absolutely love the cottage. It's tucked away so it's never overwhelmingly busy, and their prices are the most affordable in town. They embrace diversity which reflects on their variety of menu options. The staff is always friendly and the owner is very accommodating. Have I had better southern b
So atmosphere was good only little to no A/C which is a MUST in Memphis! Chicken and dumplings were okay but tasted like soy sauce. The fried tomatoes were okay could have been cooked longer. May try breakfast next time.. waitress was fabulous 👌
This place is amazing from the time I walked in and felt like I’d went back in time. Atmosphere is so pleasant and peaceful. I was welcomed with my service dog and some of the other customers stopped and chatted. I’m definitely going to be hitting this place up in the near future. Food is delicious
Absolutely hands down the best thai food I've had in Memphis. Truly authentic and very well prepared food. I will definitely be bringing the whole family to eat. Look forward to trying all the thai dishes.
“The Cottage,” is an old-school diner with an international twist. Lovely servers and a hospitable owner. Breakfast was great. I hope to try the Thai cuisine on my next visit. If you’re looking for, “local” don’t pass it up!

Love this place! Excellent food and service! Prices are so low you have to do a double take. Lynn & Lynda are both fabulous and attentive. Owner Tom is very nice. Overall a fantastic experience, We have been there 3 out of the last 4 days!
Had another Thai dish I wanted to share with you from the cottage. Pad see ew. This version included japanese eggplants grow outside the restaurant, shitake mushrooms, bean sprouts, carrots, pork, bell peppers and thai basil. The flavor was rich, peppery and multi layered to the last bite.
