The food is amazing and the portions are huge!! Everything was fresh and very tasty. The staff is very friendly. I had the lunch special of sausage and peppers. It came with a wonderful crisp cold side salad and rolls plus a huge helping of spaghetti. Enough for at least 2 meals!

We had never been to Zappitelli's but had a gift certificate friends gave us for our anniversary, so we thought we'd try it out. The place was packed, and while we waited for our table, we struck up a conversation with others in the waiting area. Everyone said how much they loved the food, and when we finally got our table, we were believers. The food was so good, and there was enough for us to take home for dinner again the next day. We had canolli for dessert, which was very good. Service was excellent, and the whole staff really hustled. We're definitely planning on going back soon.
Damn do you get a TON of food. Every pasta plate was huge. The meatballs were huge and tasty. The sauce was good but a tad overly salty. Gnocchi was perfect consistency but I decided I don't really like the doughyness of it (nothing against the restaurant). Cavatelli was good. Chicken parm w side of spag..massive. All in all it was great except the beginning. The greeting was sadly lacking. Our server was phenomenal though.
This is my go to Italian restaurant and
we always love the food but I was very disappointed with my last visit. We got the same meals we always get and it just didn't taste the same. My daughter's veal parmesan was really off tasting and we all agreed it wasn't any good. My chicken Alfredo wasn't very bad but it is usually wonderful and it wasn't. It just tasted different and not in a good way. The pizza was fine and salad was good. Overall it was just disappointing because we always expect a 10/10 great meal and this was like 6/10.

Phenomenal food. I got the raviolis & meatballs; huge serving size, good taste. Server was very nice, as was the younger girl behind the counter. Will stop again if I’m ever in the area.
Great food and service!!! A little pricey but its also 2 sometimes 3 meals because of the portion sizes. It makes the price so worth it. The chicken parm is my go to.
Excellent service. It's awesome that they're open on Mondays for dinner! Many restaurants are closed on Mondays! The food was delicious, with plenty for the next day lunch. I recommend the lasagna with meatballs! Finish off your meal with the best chocolate dipped cannolis in town!
We enjoyed generous portions of delicious pasta and sausage, served steaming hot right from the kitchen. House dressing (oil & balsamic vinegar) came with the crisp, fresh salads and yummy bread rolls. Homemade pasta - delicious spaghetti, truly outstanding gnocchi. Very tasty veal Marsala. Excellent, friendly service. GREAT!
My boss recommended Zappitelli's to me so I asked my wife to go! Turned out to be one of the best eating experiences of our life! We were blown away not only by the wonderful food and the way it was prepared but by the way we were welcomed inside! Our server was the nicest gal and very professional. I highly recommend this eatery to all who enjoy authentic Italian cuisine. The people at another table overheard us tell our server it was our first time there and they said "you will love it here" they were right! Bring your appetite though.....the portions are huge and the price was shockingly reasonable! So to the Chef and our server and all staff members a job well done!!!!! 5 stars all day long!!!!
Our first time here over the weekend— Wow! The pasta was big enough to share and the medium sized pizza was perfect for the 3 of us. The waitresses were friendly and helpful. There are two sides to the dining area, as well as a separate place for pickup / to go orders. We enjoyed the food very much and are looking forward to returning!!
The reviews were all right! We loved everything! Ask for the daily specials! Bring your appetite!! You get a ton of unbelievable amount of food! Very laid back atmosphere. We'll return every time we visit from South Carolina. Visited again a year later! Still a great experience. It is still a great place, good food and still had to take a whole meal home.
Super pleased with the service and the food here!! Great pizza and I had a great experience dealing with the manager and employees. Highly recommended!

They have an Achilles heel. G doesn't like red sauce and only likes angel hair. The cook refuses to do angel hair and alfredo sauce. As a paying customer, most anything should be doable.

I need you to step away from The Olive Garden. Seriously. What do see in them anyway? Find the local Italian spot that knows what they are doing and do it from scratch! Zappatelli's is it around here! I get at least three meals put of the rigatoni in meat sauce. It comes with salad and bread, too!
Written Sept 2018 and never published - Since this was the evening of the big storm, I would love for the shopping center to have more awnings. We were soaking wet eating dinner. But dinner was super good. It's not an easy task to find a good Italian restaurant and this is one of those.
Written May 2019 - We visited for the 3rd time this evening. G had angel hair and meatballs. I had rigatoni and meatballs. It was such a big portion, each of us brought home more than half! They serve with plenty of sauce and mozz. There is balsamic vinegar and olive oil (and butter) on the table. Service could have been better and I hear ice is plentiful. Overall one of my few picks for a good Italian restaurant.
Love the flavors! Had the eggplant special, and it was amazing!! So much pasta it makes 2 small meals for lunch. Will be back again to try the pizza, it looks good.
This is hands down the BEST sauce!! Lasagna and chicken parm hands down family favorite. You will get a solid 2 meals out of one for adults and 3 possibly 4 for kids and lighter eaters. Order take out early so your able to get a HUGE cream puff and cannoli they will go fast! This is our families GO TO 2-3 times a month! Mangia e diversiti !!
I've been coming here for a long time. Zappitelli's is one of my all-time favorite restaurants. The quality and quantity of the food simply can't be beat.
Looks like nothing from the outside, inside small and homey but the food is great quality, large portions and the servers always super friendly. If it's busy, just wait. It's worth it.
