What a pleasant surprise! I haven’t been to Hunan Lake for a very long time because it was just an average take out place. I was just there and wow! The service was very fast, and the food...a complete difference from what I remember.

We order from Hunan Lake 2-3 times a month. Our food is always ready fast, even with a custom order because of an allergy. Always delicious for lunch or dinner. Friendly staff always greets with a smile!

Wow. . read the whiny reviews of "it's inedible" and "it's bland", "the rice was hard", etc., etc. . .this is during The Covid Crisis. . .they said "15-20 minutes". .was quicker than that. . .no "mask required" sign on the door yet the employees were behind a wall of Plexi and wearing masks. . .only
Hunan Lake does not have in-house service. It is pick up or delivery only. The food is terrific and always ready on time for pick up. They use the usual delivery services.
You can't go wrong with it anything on the menu! The chicken is unbelievably tender and large portions of food. I highly suggest eating at this place if you like good Chinese food.

Since Good Fortune closed we have tried Hunan Lake twice now and have been pleased with the food both times. Loved the bourbon chicken and chicken lo mein! Hubby liked them too. Both very tasty, as was the crispy spring roll. Order was ready quickly.
