The North shore Mequon longstanding Port Road pizza (Italian) place - I like it but not entirely sure why.... the service here was quite sunny and attentive, and there's something oddly appealing in the familiar comfort of their now-almost-for-sure-needing-update interior. Almost every dish I've tried could easily be better, but it's all acceptable... pizza ok but sauce could be improved with lemon and garlic. Burger - small, but fine (the veggies thereon fresh). Salad kinda dry, but ok ingredients. Calamari - where's the calamari? - huge pieces eventually reveal themselves to be almost all breading - at least 50% breading. Could rate this 2.5 or 4.0 depending on angle of outlook, settled on 3.5, but maybe 3.1 would work too... :)
Since I moved here in July 2010 I have found a home away from home at Ferrantes! From the moment I walked in the door I was in love with their food and staff. You should all go to this restaurant!!! Try the baked chicken...the chicken greek salad...the calamari and all the specials!!
Can not say enough about this place ❤️❤️❤️ It felt like home, the people were so friendly, many regulars. The bartender has been working there 40 years (Im sure thats what he said) but anyways a long time and he was fantastic! The garlic bread is so good! The pasta coulda used more flavor but still good. I will be back before I leave !
Pretty good italian american offerings for great prices. We got the 5 men in a boat appetizer (5 meatballs in sauce, they forgot the bread though) then chicken parm & shrimp scampi. They offer a great and friendly curbside service as well. For under $45 we had a complete dinner for two with enough leftovers for both of us to have a 2nd meal today. Will definitely order again as Milwaukee is lacking in italian options at decent prices.
Been coming here for over a decade. It was nice to dine at again. The only reason for the four stars was that the fish fry perch was very dry and tough. I think it was very overcooked.
It was not good. They messed up all our dinners Calzone was awful not to mention the chix and veal piccada.
Let me rebut. So I have been delighted by my latested experiences. They aim to please. I give them 5 stars. Bill and the crew are there for the massed. Thx guys.
Was very nice also very busy we arrived about 5:30pm Was seated right away but after we were seated in about 15min it really got busy. Me and my wife had the beer batter cod which was very good. All of the dishes that came by us looked very good.
