The pizza here is great! The ratio of cheese to sauce to dough is PERFECT! The house special is delicious and the pizza is light and crispy, but not too crispy! I could probably eat a whole small pie by myself and not get full! Lol! This pizza place is a gem of the Meriden community!

Best pizza ever!! Forget Pepe's, forget modern, forget what you thought was the best pizza ever, whoever you thought made the best pizza, go in there and punch them square in the suck for wasting your time with there cardboard and ketchup. Little rendezvous is one of life's little secrets

Meriden staple. Don't be fooled mad by the weird building. So good and So unique I've never had another pizza like it. My particular favorites are cheese or sausage and peppers. I recommend for everyone to try it.

My first time ordering, and I needed a gluten-free delicacy. Not just any allergen-free pizza, but one that would sate the appetite of a pizza connoisseur. A pizza with a bevy of meat...and jalapeños. Normally an order like that would engender looks of confusion or outright "no can do". But not here. No, in less than 30 minutes, I was treated to a sizzling-hot concoction of bacon, sausage, pepperonis, and yes, jalapeños, all meandering in a rich tomato sauce, atop a crust so thin, yet hardy, you can't help but smile as you bite into it. Will I be back? You betcha!

This is the best Pizza In Meriden or the surrounding area. I used to love Verdolini’s in Meriden years ago. This is the closest I’ve been able to find.

Love this pizza. One of my favorites is plain with just grated cheese and a thin crust. Best pizza around.

Takeout only. To say this restaurant lacks ambiance would be an understatement . I love wood fired New Haven-style pizzas so I occasionally get lazy and pick up a cheese pizza to go. The crust is consistent because the owner still makes each one, but it is a little too chewy for my tastes. The sauce and mozzarella, however, are of good quality.

By far the best pizza in the area. That says a lot too because there is actually some pretty good pizza in the vicinity.

What can I say...great pizza! A little piece of New Haven in central CT. One of the best pizzas I've had outside of Wooster Street.

As a New Haven native since moving north years ago I’ve always been searching for a good thin crust new haven style pizza and I’m usually disappointed and make the long drive down 91 for a descent pie. I have to say I’m impressed with the 2 pizzas I ordered here love that coal fired flavor and the sauce had a great taste. Will definitely be making many more orders at little rendezvous in the future so glad I discovered this place.oh and they have foxon park soda a true sign of the best Apizza

I walked into Little Rendezvous back in 1987 and met Paul while he was spinning up a pizza. He recommended a white clam with bacon and garlic and I was hooked. I averaged 2 or 3 pizzas a week. Always had it well done, that oven did wonderful things for a pizza. I've NEVER found a pizza that tasted as good, even in Italy. BEST of the BEST. Happy to know the tradition carries on after Pauls retirement. If I ever find my way out of Florida back to CT, I'd go out of my way for a white clam pizza. Too bad u don't ship to Florida.

I’ve heard this is one of the best pizza places in CT. We have not tried it yet, but the next place on our list. They have multiple types of crust. I think we are going to shoot for the thin crust. Don’t forget to bring cash, they don’t take plastic.

Reminder of my childhood .I grew eating this pizza. The 130 year old coal fired oven creates the best thin crust. No frills, wooden benches and hasn't been renovated in years but it's a time capsule of years gone bye. Just a excellent classic one of a kind pizza joint.

The pies being turned out here at the rendezvous are unique unto themselves... The Circa 1800s bread oven transformed into a pizza oven early in its life produce a unique charred crust it's unlike any other I have come across... The dough has a unique kind of crisp to it in a sort of heartiness it's still somehow being thin and light. The sauce on this pie compliments the cheese which is rich in a little salty... Tucked away in the back of this little unassuming spot is the gastronomical revelation if you ever have yourself a moment even a second if you consider yourself a pizza enthusiast or fanatic then this is a must stop you cannot go wrong with anything that you order here. Pro tip: order a plain with just garlic (simple is sometimes perfect)

You can't get a better pizza in the area. Top 10 in the state easily. True coal fired pizza

The plain graded parmesan pizza is their flagship in my humble opinion. The way the coal fired brick oven complements these simple ingredients, it's art. We get one once a week and never grow tired. Not to mention Steve and his staff are some of the best around!

Best pizza in Meriden hands down. You can't beat brick oven. My family has been coming here for years. Absolutely delicious every time we go. Making a good pie is an art, and these guys know what they're doing for sure. They've carried on the tradition of top level pizza, from past generations who have owned this place exceptionally well. Aesthetically they still even have the original dining tables and chairs from long ago, and the same brick oven untouched. There's a reason why they've been here over a hundred years. Forget fast food pizza and order yourself a real pie.
