Great customer service and tasty burritos. The chips and guac were great and they hooked it up on chips. Compared to the competition next to them their burritos are on the smaller side for the price but I was happy with the service and happy with the food. Also amazing homemade horchata!
Had the half chicken plate with beans and salad. This chicken is seasoned and cooked absolutely perfectly, with just a little charcoal smokiness. I debated not posting so it remains as quiet as when I came, but it’s too good not to share with the world. As you’ll see from my picture, I couldn’t wait to eat the leg before posting cause it smelled so good. This is good food done quickly.
This place is amazing. The food is extremely cheap for the portion size as well as very tasty. Service was kind and excellent. We ordered the half chicken which comes with two sides (chose beans and rice) and it didn't disappoint. The chicken was perfectly cooked and the beans and rice were delicious. It also comes with super soft corn tortillas. I wouldn't hesitate to come here and will definitely be back anytime I'm in the area.

Pollos La Chita was so delicious! I can’t wait to return to try more items on the menu. This was definitely right up my alley when wanting a bit to eat for lunch.
Oh my goodness the best carne asada burrito I have ever had. The meat hat a little Smokey flavor from the grill it was amazing. The chips are light and crispy I can’t wait to come back and try the chicken! New favorite Mexican place hands down
Small and local - a refreshing departure from chains and places that try to be local and scrappy but are run by boards and chairmen. At Pollos you see it all happen. It is super fresh, reasonably priced, great staff and you see a bunch of locals and regulars. Really glad we stopped here, the food is quite good. Very solid overall experience.
Pollos Lachuya is consistently great chicken and steak with no MSG. We've been lots of times and the quality never goes down. The tortillas taste homemade and the rice and beans are both solid, and the guacamole is top notch.
We crave this place regularly and highly recommend it.
Tried an asada taco. Meat is a good cut and properly cooked, good char and not overdone. Definitely Can tell it is fresh. Delicious salsa as well.
Last visit here on Friday evening, noticed more cooks in back and tasted so. Chicken and carne asada were both dry, salsa watery and no flavor like I remember when it was just one man maybe the owner making the food
I looked this place up and it fit the bill for a Tuesday dining experience. We ordered the Plato Campechano and it did not take too long to prepare. It was an amazing spread of food. The food was delicious.
This is by far one of the best places to get good Mexican food in mesa. The Pollo burrito was so hot and well mixed ingredients. The half chicken is like a better version of El Pollo Loco. All the salsas were great and different taste from eachother. Definitely will be back here. Plus they serve alcohol!!!
Wow! This is so good! The chicken falls off the bone and the flavor is amazing. Then you get sides and salsas and those are all amazing. You can wrap up all that awesome into a corn tortilla. Most of my meal was spent with my eyes closed loving life. Highly recommend
I had heard this place was good, and I heard right! I got a huge meal with chicken, carne asada, beans, guacamole, pico, roasted onions, and tortillas. All for $18.00. Honestly it is going to last me for at least 3 meals. The chicken was wonderfully seasoned. The asada was a little salty but had a ton of juice and flavor. I would go here for lunch or dinner. Staff was friendly and the space was clean and inviting.

Authentic Mexican food, delicious tacos and very friendly staff. We will be back to try more of their selections on the menu. And the price really wasn’t bad and the portions were good.

I got a chicken burrito and it was great! My wife enjoyed her carne asada tacos and the kids ate all their rice and beans. It was a good day!
