I found this place when my daughter and family moved to Arizona in 2019. Now I make it a point to go any time I'm back in the area. Love the food. I've always had good experience with staff and atmosphere.
I have never been to this place but am definitely passing the information to my family. We come from out of town to visit my Dad. Today, I had the strawberry and mango salad. There was a picture on the door, and it looked refreshing. I also build my own bowl. There is a menu as soon as you walk in. I had pulled port on teriyaki noodles with the island Mac n cheese with side ot teriyaki sauce. The salad did not disappoint!!! There were walnuts that I think had cinnamon on them. I had shredded chicken on top. I probably should have just had the salad, but I couldn't pass up the bowl. The salad was truly refreshing, and I ate it all. I did eat some of the pulled teriyaki pork bowl but saved the extra for my lunch tomorrow. The portions were plentiful and two could have easilyshared this meal. The taste was amazing!! Thank you for such an amazing meal.
Many options of delicious food. We had several different bowls and sauces, all of them flavorful and yummy. Healthy choices were easy to make if desired. But the sweet potato fries were cooked PERFECTLY, best fries we’ve had in a long time. Fun music & island vibes. We’ll be back when in the area.
Good fast food choice, had the pulled pork sandwich with rumbi fries.
I met with a friend for dinner at this place. Not bad for a first time experience They're promoting with a buy one entrée get the second one free.
It might be noted that the full size bowl is a better price, but neither one of us could eat the whole thing. It might be worth splitting a full size bowl if you go with another person.
My only complaints are the price, and the sauces are a bit bland. I’ve been back twice and tried two sauces. Just wish there was a more kick. But I enjoy being able to eat some protien and fries in the same place
The staff is awesome and extremely helpful. The food is yummy, but very basic. It seems like these dishes could be prepared at home without too much work... but they never seem to come out tasting as good as Rumbi!! One star taken away for pricing. Salad, bowl or entree ranging from $10 plus. If you have a coupon it is definitely worth the money.
From the look in my wife's face this place was amazing. Food smelled really good. Great prices staff was amazing. Super clean restaurant. Kids eat free after 4pm. On mondays.
Is "surprisingly good" a backhanded compliment? I met a friend here and didn't know what to expect. The nice gal working suggested what you see in the picture and it was delicious! Here comes another backhanded compliment; it was too much food! I could have ordered the smaller one, she did ask. No worries, the story ends well, as the food was just as good the next day as leftovers.
Robert and I won a free meal as a participant prize in a community event. We have eaten here on many occasions. The food is high quality,tasty and artfully presented. Service is great and with a smile!Rumbi is price competitive....we order small as their portions are large! The restaurant is spotlessly clean as are their bathroom facilities. Plenty of parking.

Amazing place! Stopped by on a whim, and not disappointed at all. Similar to Cafe Rio - build you own rice bowl or salad. They also offer entrees and tacos. The luau pork was amazing all by itself, but paired with either the teriyaki sauce or Bali peanut sauce, whole 'nother level of flavor! And the desserts! Key lime and pineapple upside-down cake were super delicious. Hoping they open more locations around the valley, starting with Queen Creek/San Tan! Bonus for parents - kids eat free every Monday and Tuesday with adult entree (1 for 1).
First time at this location. Good service and great tasting food. Like the fish tacos.

Really great Hawaiian themed restaurant with really good food! The Coconut Shrimp Tacos on Taco Tuesday are so delicious. It’s really nice on the inside and is great for yourself or your friends and family!
Perfect place for a quick meal at a good price. You must try the sweet potato fries. Brewery next door makes this place very attractive.
Friendly service. I would say the food is okay but nothing to write home about except for one item. That would be the sweet potato fries with sauce.
Unfortunately with inflation the price point really doesn't offer the budget to eat here. I will say the food is tasty. If you don't mind spending a little extra you can find something that you would like. Kind of a mix between Jamaican jerk and Hawaiian pineapple mix in a little peanut sauce. Their bathrooms are very tidy.
