The baristas at this location (inside Lakeside Mall) are so nice, professional, and understanding of differences. I prefer this location over all of the ones in the greater New Orleans area simply because of how nice they are. This morning, they went above and beyond with my family, and went out of their way to help us. When they noticed my elderly aunt struggling to read the menu, they brought us a special menu with larger print and Braille because they could see that she was having difficulty reading-they did this without us even asking! When my cousin (who is on the autism spectrum) was deciding between two different drinks, the barista surprised him by making both drinks (one on the house!) This kind gesture made his day, and it was such a thoughtful thing to do! With all of the difficulties we’ve all experienced in 2020 and 2021, kindness like what we experienced this morning is truly what makes the world go round. I was so grateful for their actions this morning, and will not only keep this location as my exclusive Starbucks, but encourage my friends and family to make it their location too. Thank you for being so nice and brightening all of our days today!
There is a long line occasionally, but that is to be expected since it is Starbucks. The drinks are good and only watered down sometimes.
Nicky is great and welcomes you with open arms no matter the time of day. The young lady with locs is AMAZING at making my drink every time I go! Great staff all around
