Very touristic place in Lincoln Road. Hostes, servers, bartenders dressed like authentic Cuban 🇨🇺 style; and they are acting to catch tourists.
I used to go there for breakfast 🍳. HUGE portions and ok food. It didn't give me "wow"
Also they have good cocktails 🍸. I recommend their delicious 🍸 martini, margaritas, mojitos..
A good first time experience of cuban food. The serving is big, wished I have more tummy space to try out other dishes in the menu.
Any time I am in Miami Beach, I come here for breakfast. The Big Havana Breakfast (see picture) is more food than you can eat. Everything is excellent. The eggs are always cooked perfectly. Don't come here for a fast breakfast, because that is not what this place is all about. It is great to sit and enjoy an excellent breakfast here.
I love this place, the food is excellent. The music was great. I just would like it to cost less. I really will come back again. next year with my family.
Being a vegetarian I had no choice of food in here . The service was okay but the view and the ambience of this place bought me here . It is located on the road of south beach and caters lot of crowd . The servers here are dressed as Italians. Overall it is a good place to visit even if u don’t wish to eat , u can enjoy the ambience .

Last winter I was staying at a hotel nearby so I went with my family to have lunch and have a taste of cuban food, and we absolutely loved it! I tried one of the cuban mojitos and it was delicious, and the presentation of the food overall was great. My favourite thing by far was the service, very fast and the waitress was very kind to us. I have recommended this place to friends and family everytime I have the opportunity to do it. Def Coming back when I return to Miami.

Amazing guava cheesecake! Huge sandwiches and outstanding pollo vaca fritte. Had original mojito and Cuban coffee. Only thing missing from The menu was some mango salsa

We were in Miami Beach for the weekend, and I made it a mission to try some Cuban food while we were there. We kept it somewhat traditional and had the arroz con pollo. The chicken was delicious, the rice was absolutely amazing, the portion was large enough for two people, and the ambience was great! Considered how large and busy the restaurant was, the service was surprisingly very fast! I would definitely go back.
Lo encontré realmente muy bueno! No tengo mucha experiencia en comida cubana pero esto me encanto! Tiene una gran carta de ron , los que probé eran añejados y muy buenos! Pedimos un plato para 2, que era un pollo marinado por 6 horas, unas bananas asadas, porotos negros y un arroz que era demasiado bueno!

My wife and I are on our honeymoon and did a night in south beach so we wanted some authentic Cuban food and this place did not disappoint! The service was great, so friendly in fact that other servers come to the table to say hello. The red sangria was the tastiest we have ever had and the after dinner mojitos had real sugar cane in them. As for dinner, the chicken was marinade for 24 hours and is their signature dish. Other reviews have said this is dry, which the breast was slightly but that is why there is a sauce to dip or drizzle over the chicken. The dark meat however was so succulent and the rice and beans were delicious with a side of plantains. We also had the shredded beef which was the tastiest and flavorful beef I've ever had. Also sided with rice and beans. If you are Adobe the south beach area for 1night only this is a must try as it has all of the things you could want for your one meal.
Liked it overall! Great atmosphere and service! Husband and I both got sandwiches (cuban and havana? Or something like that) Good enough but not really worth the $18 per sandwich if you ask me. 18% gratuity included (as is customary in Miami, even though there was just the two of us (in Canada they include it only for parties of 8 or more)... Fun and good experience overall, but nothing to write home about!
Amazing Chicken & Mojitos. The mojito classico was fresh and well garnished with sugar cane and mint. The Pollo Frito a la Cubana was half a chicken. The breast was a little dry, but the dark meat was tender and the spice rub was delectable.

That's What I'm Talking About!. Unbelievably excellent, upbeat service! I'm kicking myself for not remembering the server's name...(Romero perhaps?) because one should definitely ask for him. I dined at the Espanola Way location. The food was delicious! Not the most ornamental presentation on the entree, but really? Who cares! Delicious balance of flavor and although I don't know authentic Cuban from Shinola, I asked for the server's most authentic dishes and I felt I had never before experienced the exact flavors, so good!
here's the Lowdown:
Virgin Mojito (I don't drink alcohol but I could immagine how it would have been) perfectly muddled and nice balance. Generous piece of sugar cane for garnish, melted in my mouth as I gnawed on it
Shrimp Tostones, delicious, waiter recommended Tabasco, yes!
Pork leg with morro and Yucca, delicate hints of lime onions in between bites of perfectly slow cooked pork shoulder topped with toasted pork skin who's flavor seeped into the stew. A white Yucca made for a nice surprise, the morrow was flavorful and perfectly cooked!

Fulfillment of your craving for authentic Cuban. When my plane touched down in Miami the first thing I wanted was the best Cuban the city had to offer. Our concierge immediately made reservations for this location. Waiter was super personable and gave us tons of great recommendations of things to do and see while visiting. Most importantly, the food was the best and most authentic Cuban I've had to date. They also have over 200 kids of rum!
The ambience was a bit Cuban and South Beach at the same time. Great atmosphere and awesome service. Food was excellent and price was great when you consider the location, atmosphere and quality of food and service. I highly recommend making this a "must stop" when visiting Miami. If I lived here I'd visit often.
Awesome atmosphere for lounging and enjoying a Cuba libre! Prepare to pay the Lincoln road tax but its well worth the ambiance. The sangria is delicious as well. My new favorite place on Lincoln.

I ordered 1/2 chicken meal w black beans and rice. I don't like the skin on almost any chicken even fried. But this chicken took the cake!!! Tender even the breast!! Delicious crispy skin even without breading, a must get. My boyfriend had skirt steak medium well. Another tender dish. An his beans came served on the side. Excellent by themselves. Service wonderful! Always a plus

We had the pleasure of dining at Havana 1957 last night. We had a sidewalk table which was great for people watching and enhanced the fun, energetic vibe. The service was engaging and prompt. The food was melt in your mouth tender. No knives needed. I could only finish about a fourth of the specialty of the house. I highly recommend the mango mojito's if you would like a twist on the norm. We will definitely find our way back the next time we are in South Beach.

Great first experiene with Cuban cuisine. This restaurant is located on Espanola Way. We checked it out the day before and it didn't leave us with a great impression so we kept going. However, upon the recommendation of the concierge at our hotel that night we returned for dinner the next evening and we were happy we did. It was our first experience with Cuban cuisine and we really liked it. Loved the crispy plantains, yuca chips, and our favourite was the stuffed green plantain cups with ground beef. We then shared the Ropa Vieja with rice and beans, also delicious. The only disappointment was the fried cubed pork which was a little dry and chewy but the garlic sauce it came with was amazing (if you like garlic!).
Tuesday Dinner. Vey impressed with the food and service. Tasted like home made dishes, what your mother used to make. Moito pitcher was awsome, serves about 5. Smoked pork chops were unreal, Fried pork chuncks were sooo tender, grilled fish was extremely fresh. Rocommended highly.
I ate here for dinner I had the flank steak which was very good... My boyfriend had the pork leg, the meat was very tender with tons of favor . If your looking for a good Cuban place to eat this is the place and yes we will be eating here again!!!
Nice atmosphere, great food as cuban as it gets, have to try tamales and tostones rellenos con camarones, they are awesome! Mojitos are good, and i dont think pricey at all for a restaurant in south beach.. Would definitely come back :)
Friendly staff & great comfort food. Churrasco de Res, Ropa vieja & fried plantain cups with ground beef (can't recall name of dish) were all so good. Loved sitting outside and listening to Latin music while watching passersby.

THE BEST CUBAN FOOD !. My friends and I spent a fabulous weekend in South Beach and stumbled on this jewel immediately outside of the hotel we were staying in called The Clay. It is very small but so beautiful. You imagined yourself in Cuba. We sure did. It also had the Ernest Hemingway feel to it. The service here was incredible, attentive, friendly and knowledgeable staff. The food was amazing. We ordered Cuban sandwiches and one in our group ordered the 1957 Special which was roasted chicken and rice with black beans. All of our food was so delicious that there was nothing left to take out. I highly recommend this wonderful place. It's open 24/7. You can reserve the beautiful red booth too. I cannot wait to return to South Beach just to eat here for delicious cuban cuisine. It didn't break the bank either. We also enjoyed original and mango mojitos. These were very strong but I don't drink so maybe that's why it was strong for me, still good however.
Wonderful food and atmosphere. Great Fun place to hang out and people watch and eat some great Cuban food and have a pitcher of some of the best sangria on the planet.

Best mojito. I dont know about the food but the mojito was killer! I ordered the mojito pitcher and it was probably the best i ever had. They didnt skimp out on the rum and it wasnt overly sweet. Also the bartender was so nice he let me try the expresso on the house! I will definetly go back next time I am near by to try the food.
Great place ... Found it after wondering around sobo... Had a good cuban sandwich .. The drinks are pricey just like every where in sob but the food was good... The walls are cover w/ names of past visitors ... Would go back
Like prior reviewer I found this to be a gem in SoBe. Great as an outdoor spot with tables on Washington and Espanola. They really feature rums here with a huge selection - and mojitos of course. Food was good and authentic and fair price wise for the locale

Great Cuban food at a good price. We found Havana 1957 on our last night in Miami -- right across from the Mexican place we were going to re-visit. As it turned out, this was their 4th day of operation.
Staff
Ariel and Romel were extremely attentive without being suffocating, which can be a tough balance to maintain. Clean and stylish uniforms (very Cuban to my Yankee eyes) added a dash of regional spice without being kitsch. Food service was also FAST. I also have a fish and seafood allergy, and they were totally accommodating to keep me safe.
Food
I had the special of the house (spicy chicken with numerous fixings) and my girlfriend the pork. Both dishes were spicy without risking nerve damage, hot and fresh. Although the pork was slightly dry, this is a minor quibble. Just how minor? After she could eat no more, I had to finish the pork for my date.
Atmosphere
Although at the head of perhaps the most touristy street in that part of Miami, the greenery separating diners from the pedestrians was just thick enough: you can people watch while dining, but not feel like you're being served on a platter yourself.
Conclusion
Both one of the best and best-valued dinners we had during our 7-night stay at the Grand Beach Hotel (also to be recommended). Go there and say "hi" to Ariel. You won't regret it!
Very good Mojito's and Cuban coffee. The bread for the Cuban Sandwich was very fresh and good. Service during day was excellent, stopped for drinks and app a couple of days later and not so much. Was not impressed with the croquettes.
