First time visiting this venue but guarantee I'll be back. I drove 2 hours to get there and it was worth it! Free Ample parking and magnificent water view and atmosphere. Our server was awesome and provided top rated service. My dinner was delicious! The LIVE music was the cherry on the cake, Jay Valor, incredibly talented and by far the best Country band in SFL!

Monty's oysters were sweet and fresh. The crab claws were good as usual. Service was excellent. Pitcher of beer comes with a bag of ice to keep it cold. The view of the marina is always entertaining. Get a seat on the edge of the terrace for people watching.
I’m from Idaho, but visit family here every year. We ALWAYS have to go to Monty’s at least once while I’m here. I’ve never had a bad waiter or waitress. The appetizers have always been fresh and delicious, and the meals outstanding. Last year I did order a half rack of baby-back ribs and they were tough, but the waiter took them back and didn’t charge me for them. I love Monty’s!! I’ll go back every time I visit!
Love the location and atmosphere. And the pool!!! Always seems busy at the bar but we were well taken care of. The Pain Killer #3 is my favorite!!
Server was very good. We asked him to come back in a few min and he did (so many times the server waits 15 min to come back after we ask for 1 min). Food was good. It was a nice Valentine's day lunch. My only complaint was the Packers flag. WTH? j/k
Really nice scenery , kids will splash your food if you sit poolside , no diving is allowed yet kids did still manage to wet my lobster roll which wasnt the best to begin with or the boston sushi roll. Great drinks and nachos $200 free parking !
Always good to enjoy a drink with few good appetizers in Monty's. It is nice to watch the sunset and see all the beautiful boats. The place is very relaxed and can be busy so make sure you order right away your food and drinks. Ask for the happy hour, get informed what time and what includes. The prices are ok and food is ok as well, for Miami Beach. You can have a nice walk all the way to South Point after or before, that is why I like the location.
Been years since I've been here and had a great time today. Such a great outdoor restaurant and bar.
Food is Ok but the drinks are better. The upside of food is fresh fish and seafood options (like grilled mahi sandwich or fried grouper sandwich) but mostly has a pub hamburger kind of menu going on. Outdoor seating around the pool is always delightful to watch sunsets or just to be dining near the water.
Went for happy hour. Painkiller cocktails during HH were great value. However, HH oysters and shrimp were tasteless. We did enjoy the raw clams though. Food took eons to arrive. Note that service charge is fixed at 18%.
