This place is a hidden gem. Read great reviews and decide to try. The servers were friendly. They give you complimentary salsa and chips, so good. We ordered the enchiladas which was amazing! It was our first time trying this dish. We also got a set of 3 taco pastor and steak skirt tacos. So good. Best Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to. The prices are also reasonable.

Had to see a customer in NMB. This was off Biscaybe Blvd. They get 4 stars because of service and atmosphere. The location is nice. Lots of Tequila and Mezcal options. Maragrita and chips were good. Where I would give 3 stars is for there ceviche. Was to much lime juice. Was starving so I ate it all. Would like to come back one day for Taco Tuesday that starts at 4pm. And give it one more try.

After spending ten years traveling around Mexico and sampling everything edible (and some things not) I found this place soon after it opened--like 15 years ago or so. Reviewed it two years ago. What caught my attention was the Cochinita Pibil, an unusual Yucatecan pork dish that is rarely found outside of that region. I realize that it's hard to replicate many of the tastes of Mexico due to the differences in ingredients and the difficulty finding some of them, like epazote. This is one of them. Marinated in citrus and achiote, wrapped in banana leaves, then barbecued and shredded, it has an earthy, sweet taste that is incomparable. If it was truly authentic, it would be cooked in a hole in the ground. Their version is superb. Another recommended dishes is the mole poblano, a heavenly dish made with shredded chicken and a sauce made with like 137 ingredients including tortilla meal, chiles and chocolate. As a soup lover, I always order their tortilla soup, made with a broth of tomato, garlic, onion, chile de árbol and epazote. My companion had this plate with three delicious steak tacos on it that I completely ignored while diving into my own. Good Mexican beers that aren't all Corona. Waitress was attentive and humorous. Like most restaurants, they do have their occasional bad dish or server--just not when I'm around.

It's very rare to give a 5 out 5, but this Mexican restaurant and bar easily hits the mark! EXCELLENT FOOD, FLAVOR, PORTION SIZES, VIBE, SERVICE AND VALUE FOR YOUR MONEY! We got the Carnitas plate, Chicken Salad, churros and a Hibiscus Margarita. 🌺 Everything tasted amaaazing! We definitely recommend this place! It was our first experience and visit here, and it definitely won't be the last!

Loved it there. Went on a taco Tuesday night where the tacos were $3 and $5 margarita. The tacos were a little small but delicious. The margarita was not watered down. Alejandra was my server and she was very sweet. Get the Tres Leche!! You won't regret it.

I absolutely love this place! The food and service are amazing! However, coming in today and seeing how the girls are dressed with the new “uniform” l, makes me think of a prison ward!!! Please change those uniforms! Girls are to look pretty, young and fresh! With these uniforms they completely lost their femininity…

Recently went out with friends and thought we should try this place out. I highly suggest the octopus, the flavor is so yummy. The service was above and beyond! Jaimie was our Server and I will request her when I go back she was so nice, very patient answering all our questions and went above and beyond ensuring we had a pleasant experience.

First time at this restaurant. We stopped by because it was next to the dance studio when we had a class. The food was very good, and service was excellent. Definitely worth the visit.

My wife and I found this restaurant by accident when it first opened and since then it has been our favorite Mexican restaurant. Because not only is the food amazing the husband and wife team make the experience so authentic, caring and genuine. They are so warm and friendly that you walk away feeling you dined in their home. They have since expanded into the neighboring unit, doubling the size of the restaurant but the quality and experience is still what it was years ago, and that is hard to do. I went there after over 6 years and was amazed that the owner remembered me. If you want an off the beaten path local experience with out of this world Southern Mexican food. This is your spot.

Pretty decent Mexican food. If anything Id like to see more variety and more creativity ..but food was good as were the cocktails. Only issues was that i asked for a mix of both flour and corn tortilla and was told "No!" and server walked away . I thought that was odd and honestly felt ' we can add a flour tortilla " for x amount...but not a big deal.

Wonderful little cafe tucked away in a atrip mall. Very nicely decorated and great ambience. The food was delicious and the portions generous. We sat outside and had a wonderful time. Prices were reasonable. Would definitely come back!

First time dining here and it was absolutely delicious. They start you off with complimentary chips and fresh salsa. For appetizers we had the salbutes and they were so good! For main entrees we had the pollo a la yucateca and the arrachera a la campesina. Both were to die for. Tender and full of flavor. One of the best Mexican restaurants in my book. Our waiter Antonio was really great and made sure we were well taken care of. A pleasure to dine here.

I had been looking for an authentic Mexican Rest., this is the one. The food is very tasty, you can tell they use high quality ingredients and the servers know exactly how the dishes are prepared. They have a plate that on a board has octopus, chile poblano with cheese, guacamole, fried beans, elote (corn) and onion that wow! The Cochinita Pibil and the Arrachera a la Campesina that yep it hit that yummy spot. Heads up, It gets full so plan ahead…

Pretty decent food and friendly service. Steak tacos are good but they deviate from the traditional way of tacos that you may be used to. Guacamole and sopa de aguacate were delicious. Worth to give it a try if you are in the area.
