Wine selection is very good and the tapas are top quality. The bacon wrapped dates, chorizo in red wine reduction, and shrimp in a garlic sauce are faves.

Arguably one of the best paellas in Miami. The chorizo al vino is divine. The flan, delicious! One of my favorite Miami restaurants!

Do NOT miss this tiny gem in Miami. And ask the wait staff to pick the right wine to accompany your meal; you won’t regret it. We’ll be back!

Miami's "Best Kept Secret"! What a delightful experience in an unlikely setting; delicious Spanish tapas and the most comprehensive and impressive collection of international wines I've ever seen! Don't let the gas station out front fool you (it's part of the charm)..the bacon wrapped dates came directly from Heaven!

Very pleasantly surprised by this venue, the menu offers a good choice of tapas and other dishes, and of course wine. I personally also appreciated the fact that I could park my car right there. The atmosphere was what I found most interesting: people making small purchases at the ‘gas station counter’ in the front, and in the restaurant in the back a small group of German-speaking businessmen still in their suits checking the quality of their just uncorked fine wine bottle. How bizarre. I love it!

I had an absolutely amazing time here. I felt so at home that I want to learn to speak Spanish😊 I got seated at the counter (I called last minute for reservation and was on my own) which seemed at 1st a bit impersonal, but since I was on my own, this is the best place to be part of the action. Everyone was super attentive and even though I don't speak Spanish, the manager and staff all stuck up a conversation to make me feel welcome. I liked the atmosphere created by El Carajo because it seems it used to be the convenience store at the gas station, but is now a wine shop and Restaurant. In fact, you feel as though you actually dine inside the wine shop (or shopping inside a restaurant 😁) They have a good wine selection that is part of the restaurant and you can just browse for something that takes your fancy. A good variety of tapas. I had the ham croquettes, boquerones, meat starter plate and later the pulpo de gallega. All food was very good and well presented. For wine I had the Vina Ardanza Reserva which was superb. What I liked most was the friendly atmosphere created by everyone. I felt like a regular on my 1st visit, which is a special quality not many restaurants can manage, and I want to thank all the staff for making my evening special.

The place has good food. The service is good and they have a lot of good wines you can choose from. We ended up buying a couple of bottles after dinner. Their foods are good. The downside of this place is parking in case the area gets busy. But it is worth a visit and a must-try.

Although it is inside a gas station, you will be surprised with the tavern ambiance feeling. Common long table with stools provide for that tavern feeling surrounded by wine shelves. Other smaller tables available too. Variety of Tapas menu and wine by the glass. Of course, a vast selection of wine bottles that you can purchase and drink; for a $10 fee they decant it for you). Tried the Spanish albondigas (made with savory ground chorizo) with chorizo tomato based sauce and manchego cheese shaves. Also tried the dates wrapped in bacon which were crunchy sweet and salty delicious. Any tapas order have a portion of artisian bread. Paired everything with a couple of glasses of Spanish wine from Ribera del Duero. Finished with café bombón that served as a liquid dessert to finish the meal.

El Carajo Miami Restaurant offers a welcoming family-friendly atmosphere that exceeded my expectations. While it's located in an industrial area, the indoor decor is lively and inviting. This is a great spot if you're looking for a casual dining experience with the family. The menu features classic Spanish cuisine at reasonable prices. We tried the boquerones, octopus, caldo gallego and croquetas, which all tasted fresh and authentic. The portions are generous - perfect for sharing family-style. While the food isn't necessarily outstanding, it's solidly good comfort food at fair prices. The friendly wait staff aim to please and can accommodate medium size groups (6). Overall, El Carajo is ideal for no-frills family dining. The warm ambiance and hearty Spanish food at fair prices make it a nice choice for a casual meal with loved ones. It exceeded my expectations for a family-friendly Spanish restaurant located in an gas station.

This place is weird in the right way. They basically took a gas station converted into a Spanish wine shop and restaurant and kept the gas pumps. The food is authentic Spanish food and is delicious. My wife and I went tapas style and enjoyed each plate we had. The star was the Pulpo al Ajillo (octopus in garlic). The atmosphere makes you feel like you walked into a 200 year old Spanish cellar restaurant. They have a huge Spanish wine list. So if you are a wine lover, it's a great place for you. The only knock I give it is that the servers weren't attentive. They came dropped off the food, dropped off the drinks, and then never came again. That being said, the food was so good I don't care. We will definitely be going back.

I am a firm believer that haven is right here on earth and I think I found it, this is not my first time here but today the perfect combination of family great food and drinks, made me think so. The taste of Spain is just around the corner and sí, inside a gas station, the food is so beautifully prepared, here you can sense all the flavors, experience all the aromas, thees are Spanish tapas at its best, I personally enjoy a good Cabernet but the table decided on sangria, no regrets, excellent choice, the service was equally superb, we really enjoyed our evening at this cozy little place. I recommend you try the Torta Santiago with ice cream if you prefer, is just fantastic. Thank you again from an unforgettable evening, will be back soon. Do not forget to reserve a table as space is limited…

What happened to the music. It was always fun to come in the morning and see everyone happy and dancing. Now it feels like coming into a funeral home. Please no traditional Spanish music. Keep it always fun and employees happy. That’s what we all want to see. I love coming everyday to El carajo for that reason. The staff is excellent and bring us joy to start our day. Thank you 🙏

I'll admit when we pulled in I was a little skeptical because it's next to a gas station, BUT DO NOT let that stop you! This little spot shines with it's DELICIOUS food, and amazing service. The Angus skewers were Amazing and the Sangria was excellent. If you are visiting it's a MUST. Our server Rudollfo was very attentive and did an excellent job with our party of 6. Will definitely go back.

Update: unfortunately things have changed here. We went again this past weekend for the Croquetas....nothing like they used to be. We had ham and chicken croquetas and a slice of Spanish Tortilla. Not pleased. I can't say about the rest of the menu. The place was packed though

Small place, somehow casual. I went overdressed 😄. Is inside a gas station is weird the location BUT dont get fool by that, the food is really great, the sangria also very tasty. We ordered their best tapas and none of them disappointed us. All where very great on point with their taste and portions.

The place is great but the service is slow. They forgot to bring one of the appetizers. Is awesome you can walk around to check all the wines available and see the price and take the one you want to the table and they will charge you later. The food was also great

This was a last minute decision. We were a little skeptical about eating in a gas station. But we were very pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is very nice and cozy. The service was awesome. Rodolfo, our waiter, was wonderful. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the churrasco and it was cooked to perfection. I definitely recommend this restaurant!

Cool experience dining in a corner gas station - when you're inside you forget you're in one. The restaurant walls are lined with a variety of wine bottles which are for purchase. The cod fish croquettes were probably best I've had from the spanish restaurants I've been to in Miami. We had the tradicional paella - it was good but we felt it was over seasoned/salty. Service was up to par. We also tried some baked goods and were not disappointed.
