The food, espresso and view were beautiful. Eggs rancheros offered a splendid rendition on the dish featuring perfectly completed soft poached eggs and thick yet airy chips to be placed into the dish as you wish. The espresso was served promptly and also was a treat. Freshly picked purple orchid flowers decorated the table. The service was informative, well executed and unobtrusive.

Had dinner with a group of 4 friends on Saturday night. We did the Miami Spice menu and we all ordered different things, so I had to taste 8 different courses. They were all splendid, mainly the Pork Loin and the Snapper in the Entree group and the Fish tacos as appetizer. The pear salad was not to write home about. I loved the wine pairings suggested and the deal they offer for $19, which includes two glasses of wine with everyday pricing ranging from $10 to $15, including a Sancerre Rose. Cool stuff.

When my friend said she wanted to celebrate her birthday with a view of the city, I knew just where to go. As a resident, I know that 15th & Vine has some of the most spectacular views of the city so I booked a table for a party of 15. To say that everything, from start to finish, was sheer perfection would not be an exaggeration. When we arrived we were promptly seated even though some of the people from our party had not arrived yet. The manager, Valentina, was super gracious and made sure to accommodate us as best she could. If you have ever tried to get to the Viceroy on a Saturday night, you would understand why some guests were delayed! I asked to be seated in an area with the best views and we certainly were. We had city and bay views. It was a gorgeous evening which helped make it all the more breathtaking. Our server, Bruno, was excellent. We were a rather large party but he didn’t skip a beat. Some people asked for separate checks and he happily obliged. The food was very, very good. The Gnocchi was super rich and decadent. The Short Rib was seasoned to perfection, and the seafood linguini was all the rage. I had the Red Zinfandel and it was right on point. Towards the end of our evening, we were all surprised with glasses of champagne and celebratory slice chocolate cake to toast our friend’s birthday! And to top it all off, Valentina asked us if we would like to continue the celebration upstairs at Club 50 to which we all said “heeeeeeeeellzzzz z yeah!” No lines, no waiting, and we partied till the wee hours of the morning. What a wonderful way to commemorate a special evening. 15th & Vine made sure that that everything went flawlessly. This will most definitely NOT be the last time I commemorate a special event at 15th & Vine .

The brunch was excellent - really interesting options. Huge, fancy sandwiches and both truffle and sweet potato fries. The service was terrible. Definitely go for the food. Expect a long wait and lots of excuses.
